Description
This logo was done for a lovely couple who breed and exhibit Border Collies.The image was a delight to bring to life! I made an extra effort to highlight and burn in some of the fur detail, as well as expression in the face.
We all know how I lack when it comes to backgrounds....I'm not extremely thrilled with this one either but it makes the cut
This logo is now Copyrighted. Beware.

heey I saw this artwork on their site layout. I thought to myself immediately (hmm someone on DA must have done this!) due to the style of the art. I love your work great job! : D I am looking for a BC pup in the future I had one before but he passed in 09. I want to show this time around...so that's how I came across the site.

wa-wa-wait. did you say you're not thrilled about the background? you've got to be kidding b/c it's fantastic. seriously, it's absolutely beautiful and extremely well done. and the border collie itself is amazing as well. i really do love this piece. it's beautiful and there is absolutely nothing that i think could be improved. it's just perfect.

Honestly, I just hate the water and rocks...those elements have always been a challenge :/

um btw, the rocks are beautiful. they're one of my favorite parts. and the water is honestly great as well. it's hella better than anything i could manage. if they were a challenge for you, it doesn't look like they were, and I don't think they're a challenge for you anymore.

I seriously thought the background was a photo at the top part. o-o. And your shading is so ovely, and the sheep look very..puffily and real. xD I also like the slight glow around the border collie to make it the main point. c:

Beautiful! I love all the details in the fur, and personally I think the background works perfectly- it says more about the Border Collies, but doesn't take away from the lovely detail of the main dog
