The shining city of progress was falling apart, chaos spread to every corner of Piltover and their heroes were nowhere to be found. The Sheriff and Enforcer had gone missing not long ago, chasing a chem-addicted beast back into the dark depths of Zaun below.

The toxic city beneath was a winding maze, too deep even for sunlight to reach. Shady characters and punks hiding behind every corner. Caitlyn and Vi had done everything they could to keep peace in their home above, everything they could to keep Zaun out for so long, but before they had time to get their bearings, they’d walked right into an ambush and were quickly captured.

Chem-induced hypnosis proved all too effective at shifting the pair’s judgement.
Memories blurred before fading completely. Allegiances quickly changed.
Piltover’s art, architecture, inventions, neatness, peace - all too boring.

The Chem-Barons gave their final approval, and with that “Piltover’s Finest” were eager to return to the surface and have some fun.
