This is really great, I have never considered baking clay and then cutting/shaping it but this method looks incredible, I'll definitely give it a try!

You can get a lot of interesting effects if you bake the clay first, it's a good resource to keep in mind I hope it works for you too!

I've got problems with ovens, because I tend to burn stuff when I cook/bake with the oven, especially cakes. ((:.

I also think that's the problem, actually.
Once, I baked some cookies for Christmas in my grandma's houses, and they were good! But everytime that I try to bake cookies, and once a cake, in our house, it always get burned. :/.

No you can re-bake the clay as many times as you need as long as you don't go over the max temperature. I think there's pieces I've baked 10 times without a trouble.
