I don't know if anyone else is having this problem but I've had it since I began using this but this box isn't/doesn't always stay blue. It goes to plain and black to the blue a while later, then won't be blue for a couple of days again. I've linked some screenshots below.
They were only taken within three minutes of each other.

for the width : 400 px is the default width. So you'll want to put something larger than this. In my opinion 600 is the max if you want it to be properly visible on most modern normal screens. So 450, 500, 550 or 600 are probably most recommendable - but you can set it any integer value in between those too (like 479, but not 479,294093028)

Lol what? Are you sure? I have the pat.file in my photoshop from a pattern page I found on google..it may be a coincidence but if you want I mention you!! I am confused now...

Yeah, I originally made that pixel for personal use but have since made it available for public use in custom box backgrounds, journal skins and just as a pattern. I assume someone just saved the pattern from one of those or my pixel website and uploaded it onto the site you found it on. It's not a problem I just wanted to mention it. ^^
