Flashback to Sylvia's first proper boxing match. More than a year of training as a way of managing aggression had done little to prepare her for a real fight. Her selection of opponent was also disastrous, the seasoned veteran Hana Mizuchi, who had been training up and coming fighters in the area.

The outcome left her severely discouraged and cast doubt on a future in boxing, but her performance, lackluster as it was, did draw a few eyes. Sometimes a bad debut can be memorable.
