Only 3 countries occupy the mainland of this continent (the international borders are here: sta.sh/019qoxrogqi7 ) though several other sovereign nations occupy the northern islands.

Central country on the mainland is kind-of-sort-of this world's equivalent of the United States of America (partial - as in, don't have name of states, cities or towns, let alone an actual name of the nation worked out yet - political map here: sta.sh/015aplgymnmw )
