Description
I mentioned this in a poll a while back, but I figured this would of been easier in the first place.This just demonstrates the differences between the styles, Binary and Pixel. They can be the same size but be drastically different in the method of execution.
Binary art is usually drawn without zooming in, with a thick brush and pressure sensitivity. Cell shading is often used, and colored linework can complete the look.
Binary art does not have "Antialising", and no blurry edges when zoomed in.
Pixel Art is drawn zooming in A LOT. Pixel art is achieved by carefully placing each pixel and zooming in and out to "get the full picture" and see the image for what it is. You can often get lost while doing large pixel projects, because being zoomed in working with such tiny pixels for a while can become disorienting. Careful pixel placement, dithering, color counting, these are all aspects of pixel art.
These styles CAN be used interchangeably, and even in the same piece.
My "GottaGoFast" series is a good example. The outer lines and base is all drawn in Binary style, and simple characters are finished and colored that way too, but if a character has complex markings and gradients or small accessories, they are often more of a pixel style because of the level of detail needed.
Completely Binary GGFs;
GGFs with pixeling techniques used as well;
Carefully Dithered markings and gradients, or flowers.

Oh gosh, thank you so much that means a lot ! I took a long break from pixeling because it was too tedious for me at the time because of stuff in my life like babies and bad eyes LOL. But I think I will open slots for them on the 9th when I opened the gotta go fast again. Thank you so much!!!
