Story of my pokemon existence. My pokemon gets confused. It hurts itself multiple times before it gets its head fixed. The opponent never takes damage from confusion. My pokemon gets paralyzed. I rarely get to attack. My opponent gets paralyzed. They almost never get stopped by paralysis. All status problems work against me.

Survive the fight with the Golbat, and continue on into the cave, until you have to fight another one

It gets worse when your pokemon was a level 61 Dragonite, and your Dragonite fainted before it could even touch the Golbat. TT-TT
