Archen

Species: Growlithe
Age: 15 (relative to human lifespan)
Nature: Modest
Characteristic: Strong willed
Pronounced: (ARK-EN)

A smart, resourceful Growlithe. Although he's a bit cowardly, he tries as hard as he can to become a great rescuer. He is Petal's big brother, though they are not from the same mother or father. He is overprotective of her, at a point where it's a bit obsessive. Around Pokemon he doesn't know, he's a little quiet, but still generally friendly. He wishes he was a better fighter and more than anything, a good leader. He looks up to Vertigo the most. For some reason, he has a huge fear of water. It's so bad that he wouldn't even touch a puddle. Archen doesn't like to talk about it.

Archen is an overall bad fighter. He tends to attack with Flamethrower quite often, and it does little to no damage. He panics when attacking, making an enemy counter very easily. Archen is also quite clumsy when battling and will tend to trip while running. His only good quality is his OK durability, he can take a few hits from a Pokemon of his size.

Trivia

Archen doesn't have a lot of self-confidence, and is sometimes a bit hotheaded.
Despite not being a very good fighter, he for some reason inherits some pretty powerful moves, although they're very weak for those moves' standards.
Being a Growlithe, he can ''smell'' the emotions of Pokemon. He's actually quite good at it.

Extra Info

-Archen's name was originally supposed to be ''Archer'', but a last minute typo caused it to change. I also had no idea that there was a fossil Pokemon named Archen in Gen 5.

Age: 7 (relative to human lifespan)
Nature: Jolly
Characteristic: Highly curious
Prounouned (PET-OL)

A happy-go-lucky Oddish who usually has no idea in what danger she's in. Though she doesn't know it, Petal is able to trick people into giving her things or lending her a hand due to her cuteness. She is Archen's little sister, though they are not from the same mother or father. Petal is oblivious to the fact that she is incredibly powerful for an infant Oddish. She is very tough for one her age, as she almost never cries or gets into a bad mood. Petal tries to get along with everybody, which can be a good or bad thing depending on the situation.

She's so small that any attack will be devastating, although it is unlikely she will get hit, as Petal is great at dodging attacks too. She likes to ''play'' with her enemy, and when she does attack, it is all in fun. Surprisingly, her attacks do quite a large amount of damage (for an Oddish, at least).

Trivia

Using her leaves, she can hold smaller things, like a pen.
She's very flexible and can perform front flips while jumping.

-Petal was originally supposed to be a Cherubi, but as it turns out, I wasn't able to make her look good.
