Tutorial 03 ~ Special Effects: Bolts, Beams and Fire!So after not doing one of these for aaaages, I come back with something a lot of people ask for (among other things |D), being how I do my glowy effects and stuff ~
This Tutorial straight off assumes that you know how to use Photoshop or your nearest equvialent, as I'm not here to teach you where to find shizz.
And as far as my glows go - I don't like using the Outer Glow Blending Mode, as it never has the right feel to it, so with the gaussian blur 'glow', you manually make the glow happen and it looks SO much better.
And there you have it - Not much to explain on this one, and remember to just have fun with it!

I had a hard time trying to word that part where "they're made out of the same type of materials" since magnets have no gender. >< You have a good point about how the same poles repel, though.
