Description
After that comic about a young Hector, Ernesto and Imelda I decided I wanted to make a picture of Hector and Miguel to see the similarities between them 
I’ve just been on a Coco artwork binge lately, don’t worry, I’m not abandoning Undertale, I just really wanted to draw a lot of Coco fanart lately XD

If Pixar decides to make a Coco 2, they DEFINATELY should make it a prequel focusing on Hector's early years. 😀

I just realized Hector has a dimple on both sides, where Miguel has a dimple on his left side, but not on the right. Dimple, no dimple, dimple, no dimple.

Aghhhh, I watched this movie.. AND I GOT SO EMOTIONAL OVER HECTOR!! Dude, you do a great job at drawing Coco! Goddd, this is inspiring me to make some artwork of my favorite character: Hector.

Hector did not deserve such a fate. It was all because of his scumbag partner's frustration over his reasonable decision to quit touring and go home to his family. 😢😠

Heck. Yes. The movie is amazing, it's one of the few movies that made me emotional (considering I'm dead inside.) Oh yeah. I like your icon, another fan of Shikamaru! Aghhh, I should make fanart of him, haha XD. He is proof you can be lazy and be extremely smart, probably one of the most relatable characters out there.

I always wonder why Hector did see the family resemblance when he met Miguel saw himself in the kid?

He probably noticed it on a subconscious level. He wasn't all that surprised when they figured out they were family. If he'd had absolutely NO idea, there would probably have been more of a reaction.

or he probably did not react that much because it explained alot about him and Miguel like why they both had a good singing talent and why they both lied to each other.

he's been away from his family for ages so I'm not too surprised he wouldn't recognize them aside from Coco and Imelda, he never met the others

I think it was because he was so focused on helping Miguel it didn't matter to him since after Miguel agreed to put up his photo he assumed he would just do it regardless of the reason

and the fact is Miguel did not ask but another fact Hector should learned is Miguel is only 12 years old and you cant expect a 12 year old to ask you about your reasons and like Hector Miguel has his own problems Imelda would not let him play music like the rest of his family and could not go back to the living and play music at the same time either so Miguel needed a musician blessing which is why he wanted to meet Ernesto and he lied to Hector because he was afraid Hector would not help him so of course he did not ask Hector so in my opinion Hector should have told Miguel first not Miguel not asking him.

I don't mind all the Coco fanart, i love it ♥ It's rarely i ever see a dinsey movie get a fandom of its own. Usually people are a fan of Disney, and talk about the movies they've made, but its not very often that a movie alone gets a fandom that are willing to make comics, fanart and fanfictions out of it. Coco is really special ♥

Makes sense, since they're technically only 9 years apart in age (in the movie). Their dynamic is so cute and adorable! I love them in 'Poco Loco' where Hector's giving Miguel some dancing tips! He's a really good dancer! I was very impressed!
