You could be the most badass terrorist on the world, but your pants will be filled with your own sh*t when you see a TIER-1 operator with panoramic night vision goggles right in front of your bed
Fine work
I really like those night vision goggles.

no better friend, no worse enemy
technically any baddie would be lucky to even see their attacker let alone know what's about to happen. that shitting your pants is beyond one's own control by then when a 5.56 or two makes a mess of your brain
even the good old 2-piece or 1-piece NVGs had some weight and felt clunky, takes some getting used to, and more so in stressful environments (tried some NVGs on during an exhibition, tough to do due to my vision impairment). there's a reason for the steep price for such gear

True indeed these bad guys never see the light again, if a TIER-1 is in business.
Well after the brain is shutted down by some bullets, its true the guts will just release everything what they got. So what I said was just figurative.
Hmmm you're a lucky guy. Sadly I cant confirm your statement by experience. But thanks for the information, I hope one day, I can try some NVGs out. I was always fascinated about their real effectiveness. Video games and movies just cant give back to the gamer or watcher the full reality, as you said, the weight, the complexity and real feeling.
Hmm I dont wanna know whats the price for a Panoramic NVG...

How do those NVGs work exactly? Whats the two bits on the side for? Peripheral vision or something similar?

they work pretty much work like most other military NVGs, but a little better i think. have you ever looked through a normal set of NVGs? they have a narrow field of vision. try looking through a pair of toilet paper tubes and imagine walking around in them. you have to turn your head around a lot more right?
Β the GPNVG-18 gives a wider field of vision, not like normal, but it allows the user more situational awareness without having to turn his head around as much

Agree with ND-2500, THE MULTICAM LOOKS very good, nicely blended together Thomas

thanks, copics are surprisingly cool since it blends well. i started with a base of different shades of cool and warm grey, then with some blotches of browns and lime green and pink
