One of my watchers said my art is getting bland from all the gore and that I should try painting flowers. I tried, it was nice, but my eyes burnt out from the colors.

damn, someone came up with it before me!
I always felt the idea of the story of a group of humans being left behind has alot of potential. Though I would personly have it about the idea of struggling against unwinable odds and a deconstruction of the concepts of the film (destruction of the environment for profit etc.) It could also invole a further deconstuction of the idea of the 'rambo' character. I think i'm getting into too speculation here.
Still good ide though.

Meh, I'd say that movie was beyond saving. I never tire of humans having their day, especially when through snuffing out the life of something else. I'd love to see this theme revisited if you have the interest (you certainly have the talent!). A single bullet wound in the eye (with obligatory brain matter thrown in for starters) and him carving off an ear to add to a "necklace" would make the bleeding-hearts' panties wad up nicely. "Win Through Attrition" would be the title. Heh.

I keep seeing, in my head, he scene where they're up in the top top of the tree, and the viewer first meets the flying whatchamacallit, the pteredactyl. They're lookin' around, they hear rustling, they're looking, theres crashing in the branches...but instead of the flying horse coming down, ally you see is the glowing eyes of the PREDATOR!!

Since you seem to be a stickler for details - Rambo may want to step outta the way a little because that Na'vi ain't dead yet. His pupils are constricted, and that slash on the middle of his neck isn't deep enough to hit an artery. The Na'vi's pupils work the same way as ours, so they would open up at death ("fixed and dilated" in EMT speak). If there's another slash or stab under the pool of blood on the Na'vi's collarbones, that I could believe finishing him off.
