A Canvas of TimeWith this one, I simply wanted to create an Indiana Jones-type adventure poster with all the typical ingredients: danger, death, tension, skulls, south American paraphernalia and a big snake. I realize that I didn't incorporate any visible spiders, but I'll just assume that they flew away because of the light.
By now you know that I can't just create an image without something quirky inside:
So, I painted the background to reflect the action happening at the moment:
you can see the snake, the lady holding a torch, the strange alien statue and the adventurer as well (except that he lost his staff, apparently.)
This explains the title: the painting predicts the future. It don't look too good for them adventurers, no Siree. Actually, if I were them, I'd make sure to check the rest of the mural pronto!

That's really phantastic work! Especially the wonderful snake and the inner mouth of the snake: accurate and realistic in every detail down to the airpipe, the rostral-gap and the double-rows of teeth in the upper jaw! And when i took a look on the ground i guess, the lovely serpent had a good food-supply during the last years
