There were so many gophers in the park today! I named this one Colin. He let me take pictures of him as he gorged on fries.Camera: Canon PowerShot S515

Richardson's ground squirrel. Cute little fellow. There's a lot of them living near the Franklin LRT. I was thinking of taking a picture of them as well when it gets nice enough. I haven't seen any yet. I think Balzac Billy saw his shadow

Yeah - they're mostly native to a small island off the coast (Rottnest). They're pretty friendly.

Theres a park by my house that people usually take picnics and stuff there..And leave food that they didn't eat.
The gophers are sooo fat, I guess thats probably why.
