Description
*BIG file*Here is the tutorial based on my previous work (I used it's PSD file for it). That's my own digital painting way and actualy a mix of different styles. The latest 14 works were made this way.
*I don't have Photoshop in english so I tried to translate all the options. I'm sorry if sometimes there is not prooper translation but I hope you will understand what I mean anyway
Hope it's clear enough. In case you don't understand something, feel free to ask question

Thanks for the clear explanations.
I didn't get the resizing part, though: you enlarge it twice to be 3 times bigger than the original?

Tervola In reply to ninquetari [2011-08-23 18:19:44 +0000 UTC]
The original work is ~3500x1900 pixels and to make it web size (1200x670 pixels) I resize it 3 times: first to 2500px _> 1900px -> 1200px (longer side)
I do it because I don't want work to pixelise. When resizing from big file to such small one the quality may be lower, especialy thin lines.

Sweet! It is rather similar to how I like to work. I never tried to first draw in black and white and then add colour with overlay.
I might try that one out.

oh it's good I draw in B&W because I have problem with blocking backgroung colours at first so I prefer some easier way, I think

Sounds pretty neat-o.
I am a lazy, lazy person. I hardly spend any time on the backgrounds. >.>
I def. try this one out in the near future.

Wow, that's how long it takes me to complete some images from start to finish. I'm amazed you can get so much detail in that short of time, it would take me days I think. xD
