Physical Description:

Slightly shorter than average height. Curvy and toned - just enough muscle definition to know she's can kick your butt while remaining sexy and curvaceous. She has natural long black hair that she highlights with purple streaks and beautiful brown eyes and lovely light brown skin.

Personality:

Night Raven is often considered the "rougher and tougher" member of her team. Her teammates tease her at times if she was born a marine or if the corps made her that way. She can be sensitive and caring at times, but only shows that side of her to her closest friends and confidants. Tends to be very objective oriented, and can be hard on herself when things don't go as she had planned.

Back Story:

The oldest daughter of Brazillian immigrants to the United States, Giovanna Santos was often seen as a tomboy/loner during school. Never one to make friends due to her family constantly moving around for her parent's work, Giovanna taught herself to be independent and self sufficient. During high school, she participated in several sports and found that she worked well with others when they listened to her, but often let her independent attitude get the better of her landing her in more than a few fights with both boys and girls. Not knowing what she wanted to do with her life upon graduation, Giovanna decided to join the military and signed up with the Marine Corps against many nay sayers, expecting only the absolute best from herself. Her requirement for self excellence pushed her forward during her training and later on in her career in the corps. When she was given the option to join a top secret joint military task force, she jumped at the chance knowing they only wanted "the absolute best". During her time with Project Altheron, Gia begrudgingly accepted her role as a subordinate to Redwing on the team. Often times she challenges Redwing's decisions but is slightly willing to admit when she was wrong and Redwing was right. She would take every chance to try to prove herself to be the best and most deserving. She tried to get her CO to place her as team leader, even though she knew that Hawk had a "close relationship" with Redwing. After making her case as to how she was stronger, faster and more tactically minded, Hawk reminded her that while all of that may be true, Gia was not as strong as a leader or as a teammate. Having to swallow her pride along with the harsh truth, Gia accepts her position on the team and tries her best to be less abrasive when dealing with Redwing. Her fellow teammates have enjoyed this "newer version" of her personality as she has lightened up. At least a little. After the fall of the base and project, Gia is more determined than ever to prove herself and to complete the objective given to her and her teammates. Even though she knows Redwing has reservations and that those personal issues may cause a problem one day, she keeps those thoughts to herself. She knows that she will achieve her goal - to track down and bring in the traitorous Hawk dead or alive.

No matter who gets in her way to do so.

Powers:

Enhanced Vision - Can see in complete darkness as well as see great detail up to a mile away.

Flight - Can fly up to Mach 1. Can approach Mach 2 at great strain and only in short bursts.

Toughness - Increased physical toughness enabling her to resist physical damage (cuts/blows/etc). Skin is resistant to non armor-piercing projectiles.

Strength - Increased physical strength. Can lift up to 50 tons, approximately 65 tons with great strain.

Increased Metabolism - Thanks to her enhancements, she has an accelerated metabolism and immune system. Allowing her to heal faster and recover quicker from injuries and poisons.

Weaknesses:

Energy/Chemical Weakness - Although she is scientifically enhanced, she is still vulnerable to many of the dangers that a normal human would have. While she does heal faster and her body handles toxins/chemicals faster, she still suffers the effects of these attacks

More easily blinded - Due to her enhanced vision, she is more susceptible to blinding sources (i.e. flashbangs)
