New shots of my final exam scene. I added the snow, the tree ( I did it month ago and it sucks, but I don't have the time to do a better one ) a skydome with exponential height fog, particles, decals, meshpaint and some other things.Fire particles and ground meshpaint are missing. I took an UDK package water shader but I have to do my own...
The wheel is rotating and the barrel-cannons are throwing snow ^^.
The base/pedestal of the scene is required by teachers, but it will maybe change later.

This is absolutely incredible. literally the only thing i can see is maybe the detail normal map on the snow is too strong / not tiled enough

Yeah, the big wheel is animated and the snow is falling. I will add the other animations very soon.

With all the rocks instances the polycount is really heavy for a so little scene, maybe 500 000, but without them it's less than 300 000. For the textures, mostly 512x512, some 1024x1024 ( 3 or 4 ), and the big parts have 2048 ( the wheel, the bridge, the statue and the rocks ). In fact the teacher don't care about that, he asked for a beauty map, the only thing is that it have to run at 60fps. I'm at 80fps when I activate the snow canons ( 500 particles each ^^ ), 110fps without them.
I will post a real stat sheet when it's totally done.

Yeah we can put a lot of detail in a beauty map, it's not big ^^.

Ouais jvais en mettre un peu sur la statue. Mais sur le moulin... il rentre pas mal dans l'eau quand même, c'est vrai que pour être réaliste faudrait mettre de la glace, du givre partout, etc... mais bon là...

ce serait cool aussi que tu rajoute un peu de neige sur la statue ^^ et le moulin, même si oui ca tourne et ca fait chuter la neige, mais normalement y a tjs un peu de résidus, sinon ton arbre sux pas tant que ca ^^ c''est du beau travail

Franchement si la psp ne bug pas ( hahahaha, comme si c'était possible ) je peux faire l'assemblage et le lighting avant lundi, et il me restera une semaine pour les anims et les effets spéciaux, donc je pense que c'est faisable. Mais la PSP étant ce qu'elle est, je suis sûr que jvais avoir plein de bugs, des uvs qui foirent, etc...
