Things calmed down after the simultaneous attacks in India and South Korea. Project Kaiju Destroyer had been in the works for over a month, and progress was fast. As it neared completion, the all too familiar warning signs of a kaiju attack appeared in the Gulf of Oman near Dubai. The usual attack force was deployed, but as the massive kaiju stepped out of the ocean they quickly realized it would not be enough. The jets were taken out instantly by an energy beam from its eye, and tanks did nothing to stop its march. All out of options, D.A.K.A were forced to launch Project Kaiju Destroyer early. While mostly operational, the targeting computer had not yet been implemented and thus would require manual aim. Its most powerful gun (named the Ion Annihilator after Orcadire's devastating attack) also had a quirk where it would force-restart the machine, leaving it vulnerable for several seconds. They had run out of time though, and now it was do or die.
