Where did you come up with the name of "Raiokutian" and "Reizo"? Most people call them Frost Demons, Ice-jins or Arcosians. Incidentally, Toriyama should really give Frieza's race a name. We have names for the crocodile minion's species for f*s sake!

Ah. This sheet doesn't have the change. The DBR Freeza v2 sheet that covers "F" is the one with the change, but adding it meant I needed to retroactively change some of the proportions of his clothes/armor on this one..

Freeza and Cell, the forms you've never seen.Kanzenshuu gets all the goodies. So over on the forum, user kei17 (the same guy who provided us with Battle of Gods' summary) has discovered a recently uploaded live stage show from 1997 covering some "new" Dragon Ball GT material. It seems to contain Don Kia finding more members of Redict's species to use as body guards, or maybe he cloned them? Who knows. Anyway, he uses them to attack Goku, Pan and Trunks, then towards the end of the video, Freeza and Cell arrive with new transformations.

Love this artwork. Also, THANK YOU more than you can ever know for actually referring to Frieza's forms as "Power Restriction" forms. All I See are people being like "First Form, Second Form, Third Form, Final Form," and I'm just like no! Frieza even stated outright that his transformations aren't like the rest of his race's. His forms are to keep his power in check. It's really refreshing to see someone who actually calls his forms by a name closer to what they are.

I still call them that when randomly discussing them with people. It's just easier. The main point is that you know what you mean when you're talking about them. When I say 1st form, I don't mean his base form before he transforms, I mean the first one we see. Same thing, but it's not.

That's fair, and I've never really thought about it that way. Iunno, with Xenoverse coming out in a couple weeks and people getting all up in arms over the fact that Frieza's Race can't transform the way Saiyans can, it's just really nice to see someone who acknowledges that Frieza isn't like the rest of his race. His race doesn't transform, they are shapeshifters, able to change their physical appearance to blend in with other races. First Form referring to first we see is something I've never really thought about though, so thank you for giving me a new perspective on it.

I wouldn't say they are shape-shifters. Only one of them in the original series has any sort of confirmed transformation, and only two in supplemental material (potential Revival of F God Freeza excluded for now): Freeza with his restricted forms, Kurienza with his restricted form and Coola's Super Saiyan-like form. Coola's is something entirely different and we have no other information that says the other actual members of his race (like Cold or Chilled) can shift forms at all. It could be something Freeza developed and was thus passed down to Kurieza via weird DB genetics. Especially with Toriyama telling us that there aren't many members of his race anyway, which is apparently why it's usually called "Freeza's Clan" and not given a proper name. :/
I am slightly upset that Freeza's Clan doesn't have any transformations though. Coola doesn't appear to be in the game so it would make sense that they don't get something like his Super form, and even Freeza doesn't have access to all his forms to transform between them either (and his true form and 100% power forms are still separate too). So, I can't really complain about the Freeza Clan avatars getting the short end of the stick (but I will about transformations in general). I'll just pick my Freeza Clansmen and hopefully be able to find enough different traits if you can change them or at least outfits for his race to set some different forms as costume slots.

Well, the shape-shifter bit was based on one of Vegeta's comments about how "beings like Frieza are able to change their format wil to blend in on any planet" or something similar to that, so it could be a bit off.
As for the game, I know you can at least get different outfit options, and one of them will give you an appearance similar to Final Form Coola, so the idea of different outfit slots to mimic transformations should be doable. And of course you can set different attacks to each one, and the 'transformation' Ultimate for an extra power boost if you want. I'm not sure about rearranging the stats between outfit slots though.

I'm not entirely sure that was a real thing in the Japanese version. lol I know Zarbon tells Vegeta that he and Freeza are “transforming-type aliens” and can change their battle powers via transformations. That's all I remember though.
No, my problem is that I don't really like any of the Freeza Clan costume armors (besides the ones I'll be using to create the Heroes avatars). So, I'm hoping that unlike the other races (since they aren't wearing actual clothes when created), they have some extra options at the initial creation process (unlikely) and that later on you can change them. Only that latter option is probable, as one of the Q&A session or streams or whatever said that after a certain level, you can tweak more things about your character (like Aura color), but I don't think the race has extra options like being able to cycle between if you want armor shoes or the toed feet or whatever.

Doesn't work like that. First you need ki to transform in the first place, and even if you did, it would only act as a shell. If he ever went back to his true form to access his full power, he'd still be less than half a body.

Yeah, he was never that much taller than Piccolo. I think the gap here is a bit smaller than you'd normally see in the anime or manga though, but that's because I've made Piccolo closer to his official height.

Have yet to fully read through the bio so i don't know if you've changed anything, but I remember there being your interpretation of Frieza's fifth form on the sheet before and now it's gone. I understand that you may have wanted to get rid of it because of Revival of F apparently introducing a new form, but could you see yourself incorporating that design into the Revival of F storyline in the future or no?

It really depends on the contents of the film. The only real reason I added in the Super Form was to help add a logical reason for why he could be stronger in later storylines, like when Janenba would have opened up Hell in the GT era. Revival of 「F」seems to have it's own stuff going on to accomplish that same basic thing though. There has been talk of him "not simply being revived, there is more to it than that", the addition of him training for the first time in his life, and even a tease for an entire new form that may have god energy. If it turn out that Freeza's new "form" is just him getting a flame aura or something like on the poster though? Sure, I wouldn't mind applying my transformation over it for the sake of a different aesthetic, but I don't really feel the need to force my creation into the new story if it already works with what Toriyama's done. My iteration of the film doesn't need to feel super cluttered with transformations just because I already had the thing designed; Freeza already did the multiple transformations shtick on Namek so I'd prefer not to take that path with him again.

Still curious as to whether or not Freeza's new form is a literal one like Cooler's or just him with the godly aura. The trailer showed him powering up with quite a few veins showing so either he's going 100% again or it really is a Cooler like form.

If anything, I'd think it's more like a Super Saiyan God form for Freeza. It may be a transformation, but not something super drastic. Like I said on Kanzenshuu,my 5th form was designed (and redesigned but not featured here) to function as a Coola like form. It is not how I would tackle a God Freeza though. And I may just sketch something out for that in the near future...

While we're on the topic of Strong Beings
If we take Vegeta's words about the Original Super Saiyan from the anime to be fact (anime wise at least) would the OLS be one of the strongest beings? He couldn't handle his power and blew up and no matter how strong Goku and Vegeta got they haven't blown up that and the fact his explosion caused the planet to blow up. Where as the Only Explosion shown to do that was Cell and even then I'm not sure if he would've taken the whole planet, just a huge chunk. Buu and Vegeta both used similar techniques course Vegeta could've been hoolding back to make sure Bulma and Trunks survived, and Buu Babadi perhaps but I dunno maybe just being sadistic.

It shows something, but it's open to interpretation. I don't think any of it is supposed to be taken literally, it's just there to entertain during Vegeta's speech as nothing he says relates to the visuals. Also, despite the fact that it's a giant (Ozaru) that is holding screaming figures like King Kong, it has no tail. This is very similar to the big hulking robots during Trunks' description of Gero's killer cyborgs, which turned out to clearly be a metaphoric scene for what Trunks was describing.

I don't think the previous Saiyans are supposed to be overly huge, I think the Tsufruians were supposed to be small due to the planet's higher gravity and not being warriors? lol

Well I meant they were more Burly then the recent Saiyans not overgrown haha, I just meant there are cases of people being Huge and I just meant that the OLS could've been a case. Though since that was anime only I know it doesn't really matter haha
