Hmmm, is it because you don't put enough glue??? Or maybe it's the type of lash you are using? I know for me sometimes if I get a certain brand of lash it jsut won't stick to my eye...

I hate using false lashes but I'd really love to. They make my eyes look SO much better but for some reason I can't get them to stay on. If I somehow manage to, I will rip all my natural lashes off when removing them. Dunno what I should do. Really helpful tutorial, btw.

I feel like an idiot. No wonder why I've had the worst times getting fake lashes on, I never waited for it to get tacky. I would just put it on and it would slide everywhere and make a huge mess and then I ended up ruining them.

Lol yeah it is if you plan on wearing a lot XD Cosplay makeup takes me anywhere from 45 min -1.5 hours depending how complicated it gets but daily wear it takes me less than 10 minutes lol!

Hooray! I really need to attempt fake lashes again. I only tried it once but it actually made my eyes look smaller??? :\ I'm thinking the way my friend did it wasn't suited for me...

I'm thinking the style of lashes wasn't working for your eyes! Try a more subtle lash that's not so thick, and the kind that is alternating in length with shorter and longer hairs? Orrr get ones that is only long on the outer part of the eye?

I get them at this Chinese wholesale beauty supply for $1.50 orz. Just look around at different beauty stores, I guess? Asian brands are the best, my favorite being "Red Cherry" eyelashes!

false lashes are my morbid enemy. idk if i just have a bad eye shape or what, but they always stab my inner eye and never stay put. :c

Hmmm maybe they are placed too close to the inner eye still?

perhaps.. i tried applying them with tweezers the other day and i was able to inch them away from the inside of my eye a bit before the glue dried, and they stayed on longer/better. 8)
i should really learn how to apply lashes better though.. i went out in public with them for the first time and not too many people noticed they were fake! (not for cos, that is..)
