Thank you so much for this set of tutorials! I've only just begun making costumes for conventions, and while I know a little about makeup basics, show makeup is beyond me. This is amazingly helpful!

You forgot to mention whether your skin is prone to breakouts quicker than most. I have sensitive skin so unfortunately I can't use St. Ives's Apricot Scrub, but Clean & Clear's Oil-Free Daily Pore Cleanser works wonders! β₯

WOW. I just looked through your whole tutorial and it was so helpful!
I went to AX this year and I was so jealous of some of the girls who had flawless faces/make-up with their cosplay. Fortunately, I have plenty of time to practice and get over my fear of eyelash glue for next year, hahaha.

Thanks for the tutorial! I'm finally going to venture a complete make up transformation using these tips. As far as highlighting powder goes, though is this a special kind of powder or will any powder that is brighter than the foundation able to work? @_@

You're very welcome! It depends what you are going for - if you want a really shimmery effect you can use a specific shimmer highlighting powder, or jsut for more basic using foundation/eyeshadow/powder at least 2 shades lighter than your skin will work too!

You're amazing. I'm going to start cosplaying this year, but the only issue is I never wear make up. It doesn't stick to my face for some odd reason and my eyes start to get really watery if I use eyeliner. :<
Now I know what to buy >o<
Going to suck it up this year though!

This is really complete ! I don't have half of these because in everyday life I don't think I need that much things (I never wear foundation ) so it is a good overview and checklist.
I am pretty anxious about toxicity and polluting products, have you tried any ecological make-up or make-up in this line of thought, and what do you think of them for cosplay ?
Also, I usually use Body Shop, Inglot... they also have now foundation at Lush. What do you think of them ?
