I love that you made this! I think many cosplayers should take it into consideration that makeup isn't being shallow in cosplay it just makes it look more interesting! <3

Amazing tutorial, this will really help me with my Xeres Break cosplay, since my eyebrows are a dark blonde and his are white, exellent job ^.^

These tutorials are excellent. I love them. I am cosplaying Belarus soon and my wig is very platinum blonde. My eyebrows however, not so much. I bought some crappy blonde eyebrow pencil but it makes them darker. My eyesbrows are blonde-brown and I have no idea how to achieve that color. My friend suggested doing acrylic paint? What course of action should I take? I want my eyebrows to blend with the wig, not stick out like a sore-thumb

At a convention, how often do you touch up on your makeup, and how much makeup do you carry with you at a con? I'd like to get a couple of steps as to how you touch up as well ;_; Other than that, awesome tutorial!

Actually, if you use regular school grade glue and paint it, that works too.
Paint or makeup, they both work.

There are so many cosplayers who give a lot of affort to theis costume but don't care about make up. But it is so important, as you show!

just wondering, what would happen if we used eyeliner instead of eyeshadow?

Eyeliner would be harder to work with, and it would be harder to smudge. It's definitely more concentrated, but if you use an eyeliner smudge brush or something of the sort, I'm sure it could work. D: Sorry, I'm not Since she hasn't replied in a few days, I wanted to ahead and put my own ideas in.

Yay, just revisited these tutorial pages for ALA tomorrow! i'm not skilled with makeup (having very bad eye-sight and not currently having contacts makes it harder too) but many of your tips, especially about highlighting, have already made a difference when I get all dressed up! Hopefully, my cosplay for ALA will look loads better than it did an AX. ^^ THANK YOU!

LOL! wow! you were right about hte drag queen thing! Not to say you look like one, cuz you're very pretty :] but it is true, you looked a bit strange without the wig, but after the wig is applied, everything looks grand! Good tutorial! Friendly too :]

I'm not , but I can tell you that you can buy a good chapstick. Like Burt's Bees, or a lipgloss by the same brand, it's really moisturizing~! Apply it throughout the day.
At night, you can exfoliate with a soft-bristled toothbrush with some water or moisturizer. Then rinse and stuff. c|

Sorry for the late reply! But it takes me about 30-45 minutes to do my makeup. Then again, it's out of habit now so for someone trying it for the first time it'll take longer ;.;

How did you make your blond brows? I've tried many ways, but I didn't get any satisfied results x_x (I almost don't have eyebrow hair XDD)

They arent really blonde, but more like a light brown ^^ But it's just eyeshadow over concealer/foundation!

they are total n00bs when it comes to anything cosplay, and showing this to them will be so much easier than actually having an afterschool meeting to teach them how.
