Umm I once tried colouring them pink but it didn't really work.. my eyebrows just kept peeking through, so they were kind of layering the colour

Hmm is it because your eyebrows are really dark? It's really hard to get light colors on suppper dark brows XD;; Trimming the hairs a little shrter may help, you can try! I notice it helps show the color a bit more if I keep my eyebrow hairs short.
