Yay! I got to post this really cool image after so long!!

I did this a few weeks ago after reading some exciting articles on how 'New n Tasty', a remake of the first Oddworld game 'Abe's Oddysee', was soon to be released and all the work that had been going into it!!
I have played these games for a long time now. I grew to love this very interesting character and his crazy adventures in Oddworld. What I loved most about the games was the story behind it. Slavery. Animal poaching. Addiction. All done in a clever setting with some very nervous-wrecking gameplay (the amount of times I've jumped when a Scrab suddenly killed me...)

Very cool series, and I am beyond ecstatic to hear that they are back in business, thanks to Just Add Water. I can't wait for this game (they have kept true to the original game quite nicely, while bringing in elements that could appeal to the new generation)

This image was done in chalk pastel (a very messy art tool to use, but hey). I'm not incredibly skilled with chalk (I prefer my inks and digital pieces) and only ever really use pastel when doing projects like this one. The shading quality for Abe's skin is something I can only really achieve with the chalks.
So yeah Really like this image (I love doing his eyes)
