These are the main player characters for a video game concept worldbuilding character design project thing that I am making! Each one represents the male and female option respectively. They each also show off some of the different customizability with clothes and whatnot. You may have noticed the little critters next to them. Those are their beasties! (names a wip) Two of which may be familiar if you follow my work but the other two are new! I cant wait to work on pages for them in the future.Now a little lore...
I wont go into the entire story and plot right now but these guys were "hired" by a special organization responsible for creating the technology that can harness the creatures and monsters that now roam the post-seal broken world. They now possess special psychic and supernatural abilities that make them perfect for scouting and taming the new and dangerous world along with the creatures in it. They have psychic powers for more interesting gameplay and coolness factor yes but also to explain things like battle text narration, seeing stats of your monsters, and other ui's like hp bars or menu screens just for fun.
This was definitely a good exercise for me. I don't usually draw or design human characters, but I need to more often. Especially clothing I really need to do more of that. But what do you think? Do they look too weird? are the colors bad? Do you want to see their beasties evolve? (Because I do that now. Older fans would understand) Let me know
