Okaaaaay. For some reason people don't seem to like the idea of Pinkie actually being crazy, so I'm drawing this part of a story to a close soon, and changing the focus of this secondary arc to another character. It's more or less a throwaway side story anyway, with no real effect on the overall Twilight arc, so the character that it focuses on isn't really that important.
It seems that people only likee Pinkie being crazy when she's cutting ponies up. Go figure.
I drew this pages quite a while ago, but never uploaded it, so the style is a bit of a throwback to earlier on in the comic.

Thanks, that's how they are. Strongheart has a big heart, literally, and her special talent is fighting for those she cares for, doesn't seem like much, but selflessly throwing herself into the path of a stone spell says alot I think, or using a taboo spell just to allow her best friend (Wildfire), to be able to use magic after an accident rendered her incapable helps out too.

I'm starting to think Pinkie is never going to be back to normal at this rate. Well, as normal as she's supposed to be. In fact, exactly HOW normal is she usually anyways?! Well, whatever the case, I'm starting to think she's stuck on really crazy at this point.

I've cut most of the Pinkie pages as people didn't like them. She's due back in about 6 pages. I've transferred most of her crazy story to Octavia.

This comic is out of order with the other comics. This is not a huge deal, but you might want to put it in the right order so it's easier for people to move from one page to another using the previous and next buttons built in to deviantart.

I don't like crazy Pinkie either and also absolutely hate Cupcakes Pinkie. So I all around hate any crazy Pinkie so I'm consistent, lol. Still this is looking interesting can't wait to see the next arc.

I'd say that's your problem. This side story is incongruous and has no apparent point. It just feels like you wrote another, completely different, story, but then you dropped your notes for both stories and they got mixed together. And by the time Pinkie first showed up, it was too late to introduce the alternate character interpretation as a conceit of the story, and it doesn't make any sense as anything else.

That's the entire purpose of the side story.
I'm basically telling two stories in the same comic. A main story and a smaller side story.
More complex stories often have 2 or three side stories that don't converge till the end of the book\movie\comic.
If I just wrote the Twilight arc I'd probably get bored, and the story would get stale really quickly.
I wanted to do something slightly darker and more emotional, and I couldn't do it with Twilight at this stage of the story because I've heaped so much on her already. So I used another character to do it.

I should have said something earlier as well, but please don't change your ideas and original side-story with Pinkie. There are a lot of people, a more 'silent majority' sort of thing, that are more than willing to sit back and just watch and enjoy where you are taking this story and what you have planned next.
I really hope that you are able to conclude the Pinkie arc without having to compromise or cave in to criticism. I'm very sorry that you had to go through that.
