As he says this, Christopher walks outside the den, pulling out his paper and pen, now revealed to be a small map of Kalimba Island, and marks an X over the den, marking the path they took in order to reach the Herd Grounds.

Now that he knew where to find them, it would be easy to make it back to this place. But as he looks out at the vast horizon, a young lioness in her teen years, suddenly sneaks up behind Christopher and grabs hold of his gun, before several other teen lionesses join in on the fun.

Christopher: *frantically trying to snatch his gun back* No, give me that! Hey, stop that! Stop-hold on now, leave that! THAT IS NOT TO BE PLAYED WITH!
