Professor: Oh, shall we leave you and the easel alone for a moment?

Lyndsey: *blushing in embarrassment* Professor, stop it! The point is, think of what we could learn from him. We must find him!

After hearing how Lyndsey wants to change the professor's attention from the animals to this mysterious jungle man, Christopher begins to grow frustrated.

Christopher: Come on, Dad! We’re here to find those animals, not indulge my fiancée’s girlish fantasy!

Lyndsey: *angrily* Fantasy? I didn't imagine him! Alex is—

Right at that moment, Alex suddenly drops in on the conversation, landing between Lyndsey and Christopher. Professor Rathbone and Christopher are both shocked to see him, but Lyndsey merely gestures to him with a smile.
