.. how do you save the animation so that you can view it as a video? i tried loading the motion data and "render to avi"ing but it only showed up as a single frame.

Um I'm not sure. if you did that much it should have rendered out all the way through unless you closed it out before t could finish

no it only seems to render for a second or two and then its "done" it is saved to an avi file but it is only the first frame and about as long as it would take to play it in an animation.
