1 Spoiler: “Hey. Sorry to drop by unannounced, in the middle of daytime, no less.”
1 Oracle: “To what do I owe the honor? You need me to triangulate something for a Talent to come punch efficiently?”
2 Batman: “Oracle… I need you to create a fake ID for me. A convincing one. With a social security number, and everything. And a raftload of supporting documentation.”
2 Oracle: “For you, or Stephanie?”
3 Batman: “For the Joker. We’ll need to photoshop his face to look undamaged, at several ages, in a way that photomanipulation detection programs won’t flag. He’ll need a military ID, too. And an official discharge, or better still, missing-in-action form. And notes about him from several stages of his career.”
3 Oracle: “That’s a lot of databases to hack.”
4 Batman: “This needs to be airtight. Able to convince law enforcement, government employees, and journalists. Farm out some of the work to Power Girl if you have to.”
4 Oracle: “Why do you want to make him such a good fake ID?”
5 Batman: “I need to strip that coat of paint off his face. Turn him into a deadly but disgruntled man who had connections and training, and not some immortal, omniscient terrorist.”
5 Oracle: “Okay…”
6 Batman: “He’ll become a military intelligence operative. A terrifying bad guy. But hopefully, an understandable one.”
