I thought I'd try making a realistic Digimon this time rather then a Pokemon. I grew up with Digimon and loved it for years, I might have even liked it more than Pokemon, so drawing one of my favorite Digimon, Metalgreymon, was very nostalgic.Related content

Like making up my own Digimon and Pokemon? Oh yeah! I've always have ideas and such. My problem is letting myself do it. I have a weird problem with doing fan art, although I love doing it, I always feel like I should only do a little since I'm a concept artist and need to make original creations. Even if it's concept drawings for Pokemon and Digimon I still have a hard time convincing myself it's concept art, even though it is! XD It's really stupid, but yeah, I just might start doing it! Who knows, if I uber lucky maybe one of the art directors for Pokemon or Digimon will see it and hire me, loL!

Technically, this version of Metalgreymon is the variant. The blue virus Metalgreymon first appeared in the very first v-pet in 1997, two years before this guy came along. I like the original a bit more, but this version is still cool.
