Realistic Hydreigon is Scary! Great Job!

Hydreigon has quite a unique design to it, and as such requires a very creative interpretation to render it realistically. If you observe the rest of the family, they;re all covered with hair, and it's this hair that clearly sets it apart from other dragons. The wings, though possibly composed of hair in some way (similar also to crow wings) I admit were rendered quite well in terms of shape, but I find a lot of the other body features to fall short of this innovation.
I'll start at the feet and work up. The feet on Hydreigon don't really have much of a structure, they just kinda hang there, as such makes me think they aren't really used much, and have become vestigial limbs. Also the addition of so many wings would suggest it's become somewhat of a sylph, a creature that doesn't really return to or have much use of the ground... not to mention such heavy legs as are present here would just be more weight to hoist about.
Wish such a mixed origin and being composed of so many different influences, it would seem you've only taken influence from a Tyrannosaurus... and not much else. The body/necks seem to have very little internal structures, especially when compared to the highly rigid structured nature of the Rex sculls you used the body seems entirely made up from no real reference. A creature like this requires a lot of invention, but without referencing fitting aspects of animals within the animal kingdom, realistic pokemon often don't compare well with their originals.
To sum up though, you did a fabulous job with the textures, and it's clear you put a LOT of time into this, but working on textures during creation can not only be a distraction, but make it extremely hard to go back and edit as it's often stressful to go back and edit something you've worked hard on.

All I have are good critiques. Wonderful job on making this pokemon look realistic and soo cool. And wonderful job on the cool background. Hydreigon is one of my fav. pokemon in the 5th generation.

Excellent work, but i DO have a few critics;
You added too much detail to his "hands", they are not supposed to look much like the head
His heads resembles too much a dinosaur, which ruins a little the dargonic look
His wings should be a little higher, it kinda looks like they are coming from his butt
I believe you added too many "petals" on his head, you should take 2 or 3
His "arms" have too much of a snake-ish pattern
thats all i have to say. Aside those details, the drawing, the colouring, the shading, the background, the scary effect... Truly an excellent work.

Although I appreciate critiquing I disagree with you on some points:
Yes, I made the "hands" more like the central head because I was going off the concept it's a Hydra like creature, especially with a name like Hydreigon. If this was a more realistic animal I would base it on a Hydra like beast.
Yes, it's indeed a dragon Pokemon, but look at the original Pokemon's head, hardly any dragon like features to it like horns, membranes, frills, etc. So to add more realism to it I made it resemble a dinosaur. I think as a whole it still has a dragon feel to it, I never seen a dinosaur look anything like this!
I'll agree with you on the wings.
The "petals" are accurate, each head has 7 petals, and so does mine.
Again, I did this on purpose, I drew this in my style and my interpretation of the beast as if it was a living creature.

ok then, u wanted a critic, i gave you one, but i stand firm on this being an excellent piece of work... Although. if youreally wanted to give it a hdra-like look, i believe it would have been better to give more emphasis on the center head, insted of making the "arms" longer

Did you make this yourself? I actually like it. I think the tentacles on Hydreigons back were quite a nice touch (unless there meant to be its wings if I'm not mistaken), I do believe the heavy shading of purple feels very mesmerizing too.
The realism is outstanding. I do think the scales on the Pokemon were a marvellous idea. The faces look fierce and intimidating, possibly how Hydreigon is meant to be.
