I finally saw "District 9" the other day.....and I LOVED it! It was simply amazing! What a creative and exciting film! I think it's the best movie I've seen this year, and is easily one of my favorite alien movies. So after seeing it I just had to draw a Prawn (The aliens are called Prawns since they're bottom feeders and look like prawns). I love their design, plus I think they're cute as hell, especially Chris and his child. Anyways, I don't want to give any spoilers, just go see this film! As for this drawing It took me about 8 hours to draw, it was REALLY difficult since I had a tiny still to work from as a reference, most of it I had to look up or do it by memory. I think I did a good job though.

Oh, and to those who have seen this movie.... Is it just me, or did they skip this scene? Like in the trailers they had this interrogation-like scene where they're asking a Prawn where they're from and the Prawn replies "We just want to go home." . That wasn't in the movie! Maybe they'll add it in the extended version, which I would so buy when it comes out on DVD.
