I've had a couple of people request I draw a scene from my fic Iron Oxide , so I decided to draw this scene from Chapter 11. I had to abridge it a little to fit on one page, but I was glad to finally draw this.
This page was also a composition challenge. I've been trying to make my comics look more official, but I still struggle with getting the panels arranged perfectly, as well as the perspective of the background. There's a lot of skills that go into making a good comic page that you don't realize until you try it. But I think I am making progress at least.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you like it! It's also good to hear the original scene was recognizable. I was a little worried this comic strip was taken too far out of context, but it seems more people are familiar with Iron Oxide than I assumed.

I usually don't involve myself in ships due to shipping drama, but your version of metonic is actually very engaging and makes me want it to happen

I am the same way with shipping. There are very few ships I like, and I used to not get involved with shipping at all for the same reason. But metonic captured my attention in a way no other ship ever did. I think there is so much depth in this ship, and most of it remains totally unexplored because it's so obscure. One of my goals with Iron Oxide was to develop the ship in a way others could relate to, so this feedback is really great to hear.

Um... this comes off as genuinely creepy. Judging by the title, I was expecting a funny comic with existential humour about Metal Sonic's self-awareness. I was not expecting another wholly improbable 'Metonic' fan art that I could never fathom. Also, what's up with that black band around Sonic's chest?

This ship isn't for everyone, so I can understand if you don't like it. This is an abridge version of a fan fic I wrote, and that fic does get into existentialism a whole lot more than this comic does. That's also where the black band comes from. I dropped most of the explanation in this comic in order to get it to fit on one page.

This is so cute in comic format! The colouring looks exactly like some of the official Archie stuff, and I especially like how you coloured Metal's eyes

Thank you so much! I have been really trying to copy the Archie coloring style in my latest work, and it's surprisingly harder than I thought. Metal's eyes in particular are always hard to draw because they're one of the few ways to make him expressive. But I am glad you like it!
