Description
I updated my Galor class, and also built the Keldon variant from it, as part of a project I'm involved with.
Model by me

From the last generation of canon Trek SFX kit-bashes before high-quality CGI modelling made it unnecessary.

Never been a particularly big fan of the Cardassian designs for the ships or their architecture in general (I've suspected this is part of why I couldn't ever get into DS9 as much as I did other Trek shows), but this one's okay.

Awesome. Too bad the Cardassian Rebellion didn't have a few, like the Obsidian Order did, when they attacked the Founder's Home world.

To be honest, I only know that there was that lawyer guy who wiggled OJ out of the clutches of justice. And that is worthy of an Obsidian Order membership.

Yeah, I once saw a trailer for "At Home with the Cardassians", and was really disappointed that Garak and Gul Dukot didn't appear"

Captain, sensors report a Cardassian vessel Keldon class is adrift in orbit of that brown dwarf. Multiple weapon hits with both a borg and a federation signature to it.... A little teaser from season 2 of my own project

If The Enterprise had a race with this ship, would there be any trouble *Keeping up with the Cardassians?*
Yes, I *have* been waiting a long time to spring that awful pun on someone. Β

JRXTIN In reply to CaptainQuirk5 [2018-09-23 17:45:35 +0000 UTC]
The Enterprise can't do it, but Captain Kanye can on the Ye-fiant.
Now I'm going to push the submit button and make the world a slightly worse place to be, but your pun looks like a real gem compared to mine.

Timberwolf1969 In reply to JRXTIN [2018-09-23 21:08:52 +0000 UTC]
Well, given that there is someone out there pushing the the world over the edge of good taste, this pun does the opposite of what you expected.

CaptainQuirk5 In reply to JRXTIN [2018-09-23 17:47:51 +0000 UTC]
The pun seems so obvious I'm actually surprised not to have seen it used by anyone anywhere else. Β

Timberwolf1969 In reply to CaptainQuirk5 [2018-09-23 21:04:30 +0000 UTC]
Maybe because it is so obvious noone dared to use it...
"Nah, that pun surely must have been made a thousand times a day..."

Maybe... but you'd think all the 'Uranus' jokes you see online all the time would fit that category too. Even I cringe when I see another one of those now... it's been that badly overused.

I have to admit that these jokes never crossed my path, yet.

Not the Uranus one either? I encounter that one all the time; though I suppose mostly in the comments for Astronomy articles at Yahoo News.

Timberwolf1969 In reply to CaptainQuirk5 [2018-09-24 06:53:58 +0000 UTC]
Well, as I give Yahoo News a wide berth, I'm not really surprised I don't get to see those jokes.
Hailing from a different country might help, too.

It's not the best News source perhaps but the most readily available when you don't have a TV let alone cable... which I find horribly distracting.

CaptainQuirk5 In reply to Timberwolf1969 [2018-09-24 16:12:42 +0000 UTC]
Beats newspapers. Besides which, I don't really need up-to-the-minute information on Trump's latest stupid mistake or what's-his-face in North Korea is daying about the US. It's not gonna change a damn thing whether I know about it right then or a few hours afterward. Especially as I check the news only once or twice a day because I don't care or have the time the rest of the time anyway.
This isn't meant to be a dig of any kind, but as far as I'm concerned, anyone feeling a pressing need to know right to the minute what is happening short of a national/local emergency or an imminent nuclear attack needs something better to occupy their time. Watching the news more than a few minutes a day is likely to be either damned boring due to repetition or downright depressingΒ Β directly or indirectly largely due to how much harm Trump and his cronies are doing to this country. I'm getting old and am easily depressed, so I can do without hearing about the latest mass shooting or whatever else the emergency of the day is.

As I said "outdated", I wasn't referring to a few hours later, but news from a few years ago. Especially in the science compartment.
But maybe that's an issue of the german branch...
Regarding the rest, I have to admit that you have a point, there.
