Congratulations! That is so awesome. I was actually just at Barnes and Noble yesterday and I saw this magazine. I never knew about Hi Fructose but when I saw your art, I was very intrigued. Beautiful, absolutely beautiful

Bought it. Awesome. I was kind of amazed to see someone I've been following here at DA for so long seemingly arbitrarily show up at the local Barnes & Noble I had to break my tendency about not buying mags but just reading them off the shelf. Been reading it casually the last 2 days.

I can certainly believe it, but I'm sure its a kick regardless. I have a day job, and do illos/commissions as a side gig (so my focus is attenuated to a degree), but every once in a while something comes up thats "big" and you kind of scratch your head and go "well, I totally am glad I got that opportunity, I'm totally going for it..." or "hey, X is giving me an interview or an award or some strange exposure" and you have to pinch yourself a bit.
It's a validation you can't ignore (or substitute). I've seen several success stories from/of DA over the years and I always think its awesome when it happens.

yeah! I'm still in disbelief.
It pretty much a dream come true for me, I mean, I didn't even render it as a possibility (to get the cover let alone be in the magazine). So it's pretty crazy.
