Not possible without an external application. There's one somewhere here on DA but I've never tried it.

a question: when we select a folder as icon: the image of the folder is controling by UIImage and the text from UIProperty ---> (FileName)

how can we have different or separate background [List View Item Background] for each, one background for the image and one for the text?
[i have found a kind of 'solution' which works in some way but its not the right one]

if the previous succeed, how can we have different kind of colors to each of the 2 areas[when mouse pressed], forexample blue to text and gray to the image[like mac]?

If you look at the UIFILE from ExplorerFrame.dll each one of those has a separate background which by default is argb(0, 0, 0, 0). You can change it to dtb(ClassName, PartNumber, StateNumber) which would be referencing a class/part/state from the MSStyles.
