that was good ! I am always looking for better ways to colour. ^^
and I do have one question....
when taking the part "how to paint"
could you just take the main dark colour, work up to lighter (like you said ) then blend them? or is changing the opacity better...?

IMO Changing the opacity is kinda slow for me, but it's useful when you want to get like a smooth change in gradient and what not.

ummm...can u use a mouse with this tutorial? I don't have a tablet....well I used to until I lost the tablet pen and mouse, so I can't use it anymore. Can it be done with a regulaur mouse?

Yes you can use a mouse with this technique, but you have to change the flow/opacity/space more often than tablet users (and size too >o< )
