A few sketches for the Grootslang; A primordial creature as old as the world itself that became split by the gods into an elephant, and a snake, while the last Grootslang escaped and Sired a new generation of Grootslang. They are said to be cunning, strong, and intelligent, and sustain themselves by luring elephants into a cave (known as the bottomless pit) where they are consumed.
