This style is meant for aesthetics, not readability, so if some things aren't 100% perfect, that's why.
The name reads アレックス (arekkusu).

The brush stroking was done entirely by hand with a calligraphy brush and ink. I really wanted to post the original, however, in Japan I'm without a scanner and a good camera SO I grabbed the black areas on the calligraphy from a crappy photo and threw 'em up there and made a wallpaper out of it.

Please do not reproduce.

(If you're wondering why this is pretty decently done for an amature, it's because I write hiragana, katakana and kanji everyday at school (because, y'know, I'm a student here and all).
