I was always under the impression that anthro meant they could stand up and looked and acted like people...

By definition, anthropomorphic is "giving human-like characteristics to non-human things" really.

For cartoon horse bodies or bodies in general?

Horse bodies. Or both, if you have the time. ^_^

Ooh I wish I had the time but thats something to consider for future tutorials I do! I have some similar-ish tutorials on general cartoon bodies, or bodies in general in the reference folder of my gallery. I hope any of those can help

*gasps and faves* My horses never came out right the few times I tried drawing them before. You know what I'm gonna say about this, right? XD

Hee... Horses are such bastards, they rarely look right when I draw them, and when they do they always look unserious.
I can't even remember when I tried the last time. Maybe I should do something about that?
Also: The short & stubby one looks adorable.

I really should, but I have no idea what I should do with a horseguy/girl, it's not easy just doing this stuff.
Maybe I should just stop thinking and start trying.

Omg I'm really not supposed to be on the computer, but when I saw this I really wanted to comment.
This is extremely cool. My favorite part here is the different proportions area. It's so interesting xD. Oh but dang you did a super job with the frontal view. I have the hardest time with foreshortening the snout, it's ridiculous

This is so cool. I've always had issues trying to take my realistic horses and turn them into cartoons. I'm going to use this all the time. X3

It's true! It can be used for any animal really; The rules on proportion are the same in any cartooning. LoL haha I can't wait to see what you do with it!
