YEAH BABY!I'm very pleased with this! The only item I've made before is gloves, everything else was new to me and I learnt a lot. Sure there are things that could be improved (bigger eyes, better feet etc etc) but its better than I could have hoped for. The furry jumpsuit is probably a fluke, as I had no pattern and not duct tape dummy. I just made it up as I went
Its a bit baggy, but the fabric doesn't stretch much and I wanted to be able to move! So yeah, I now have a fab cosplay/fursuit and I'm proud to say I made it myself.

Out of curiosity, what did you use for the fur and where might I get some as I'm looking to try and make a Sonic costume for SoS 2011? Any help would be hugely appreciated

The white fur was a remnant I picked up at a car boot sale. The orange stuff is called "fun fur" and I got it off ebay. Its poop though.
In my honest opinion, you might be better off making your sonic costume out of fleece. Its soft and fuzzy, but its cheaper to buy and easier to work with than faux fur. Just a thought.

aaww thanks, I'm lucky to have picked up the fur and zipper and everything, I had to wear a jumpsuit for reference and getting the general idea, zipper at the back, biggest problem was my friend's jumpsuit she lent me was meant to be the body of Elmo from Sesame Street 
I hope I can get more work on it, so excited for when it finishes
