*o* I love your brushstroking technique, especially in the trees and reflection in the water.

A simply beautiful illustration.
The tree, behind your character, reminds me of Maples in the fall. I live in the tropics and we don't have anything even remotely like Autumn. Thanks for the fond memories of New England when I was a kid.

Simply lovely, a return to form if I might add. However personally I think the painting would be fine without the figure as the landscape is so stunning.

I live right across the street from Forest Hill Park... We might be neighbors and not even know it! XD
And this is gorgeous! The lighting is beautiful, and I love how you painted the trees @.@ I suddenly want to go for a walk by the lake now~ :3 Think they'll fix up that stone gazebo?

really?
It's fixed, I went for a stroll near there a week or so ago. There was a construction crew shoring up the bank.

I haven't been lately because after I get off work, it's already dark D: Maybe this weekend~ >.> Last I went, they had just finished clearing out the pond and refilling it with water. It looked so nice compared to the marsh it had become XP

You live near Queens Blvd.? Neaaaaaat.
I thought this was a photo at first, from the distance. Then I zoomed in and it was pretty. I love the use of purples, and the reds on the trees and and the dress talk to each other very well.
If it really is so pretty, I'll have to suggest the location to my art teacher. A class there would be glorious.

And then it belatedly dawns on me that there may be other places in the world named "Forest Hill Park". Aheh.
Still very pretty.
