I completely forgot today is Dec. 1st. I thought it was the 30th. I had this ACEO laying around, waiting to be scaned, but I got involved in a huge art project (which I will upload soon) and, like always, lost my sense of clarity as well as the date and what day of the week it was due to constant focus on the project. ;____;

So this is a new style of mine first practiced on my art project aforementioned. It mainly involves thicker pen lines...*sob* I tried using copics, but forgot that I have a limited number of shades of gray (I only have dark grey o__e ) so I had to use blue instead.
And then it became too blue. D|
Buuuut, overall, I kinda like the simplistic yet detailed style this holds. The simple shading isn't part of my "new style", it's my lack of experience with markers. (But I'm sick of pencils cuz of my giant project...asdfasdf....)

3-4 hours on bristol paper with copic (plus one or two prisma) markers and prismacolor pencil (the eyes).

Augh markers. Markers are the total death of me. I can't use the damned things at all. D;
I know that you love detailed shading, but I really like this simpler look. His face is really cool! C:
Wanna know a secret? If you use markers to lay down the base colors and then do all the shading with colored pencils you can get the best of both mediums. I used to do that all the time before I switched over to digital stuff and acrylics.

UM SO HI WHEN YOU WERE GROUNDED YOU GOT LIKE 49929 MORE AWESOME. Omg I LOOOOOOVE this! The face has so much delicious structure AND I SO LOVE THOSE EYES. EYESeyeseyesEYES. And the fur is so soft and furry and amgh I LOVE the fur tht;s sticking out at the viewer. That angle is SOSO hard but you pulled it off superstupendously yus. I MISSED YEW KAY <333333333

NO U DETAIL IS BETTAR D8< Copics can achieve an estremely detailed look, I just have noideahowtodothat. xDDD You should get prismas first, factually, if you've never used markers before. You'll get frustrated if you use your copics to practice and if it don't come out nice. ;___; (despite the fact that I do that with copics when I bought prismas first...)

WRELL. Of course I would make them detailed once I got the hang of it >3> It's just all my art takes so long that I would like an alternative that would take less time and still come out good xD But. Alas... I'm such a sucker for detail ;o; I get a colored pencil in my hand and I'm like OMGLITTLETINYDETAILSNOONEWILLSEEFFFF >__> lol
I don't know if I'd be able to afford both kinds of markers, they're expensive x-x And we're poor fff

What's worse is I want to add my fursona to the list but idk how to tell them to add ANOTHER character when I have so many to choose from already lol But I really like my fursona and would want some ACEO's or ATs of her ;o;
And you have some epicly awesome characters yourself 8D I really like your zebra dragon thing xD I wanted to do that one so bad, but my only option was Thunder, but it's probably better since I might would have died trying to fit so much detail from that zebra dragon on a tiny little ACEO xD Maybe we can do some bigger trade in the future and I can draw it then >u> For now I have too much other stuff to do OTL
