Hello!So yep, I've been drawing this dude! It's the first time I'm drawing him. I did something a bit in my style, hope you like it that way. ^^
It took some time but anyway. ^^

What are your thoughts about that? I'ld gladly get some criticism, negative or positive.

Concerning the fish.. I heard that Spyro eats frogs rather than fishes but I thought that a fish would be nice (that changes a little, as meal) x)

I didn't know Spyro ate at all, actually |D
he kills frogs, a butterfly pops out, and Sparx eats the butterfly, and Spyro is better XDDD
thats why I love the original games
according to Skylanders, Spyro no longer needs Sparx, and he eats Pizza, Ice Cream, etc XD

Classic is so much more unique... I dunno |D The dumb thing about Skylanders is that it's supposed to take place _after_ SPYRO meets, befriends, and frees Cinder, but they're all tiny again |D

I would think that you could do a little more improvements. Maybe add a little bloodstains to the teeth telling that he caught a fish. Make the shadow darker and a little clearer, after all, shadows ARE us but black, right? (Sorry if this offended you)

Concerning the shadows, sorry but I don't think it needs to be darker, I've made some tests with a darker shadow and it was not looking good (Spyro's color are quite light colors, so the global illumination does something on the character, plus the skin reflects a bit light. Also there's a rule while shading a character/object : Depending of the "ground" color, the projected shadow can not be darker than the own shadow (the shadow which is on the character), even more when the "ground" is colored with a light colors : it reflects more light)
Concerning the blood.. That's true, I could have put some blood on his teeth, but well the dragon talks by himslef, the fish too, so I don't think that the blood is really needed. Plus that would have been less cute and makes Spyro looking like a psychopath, with a pose like that one. xD
No worries, I'm asking for critiques so you can't offend me, excepted if the critique is meant to be mean, but that's not the case, so no worries.

No but really, you did a fantastic job at doing Spyros outside while getting a good portion of his personality. In terms of composition, the head instantly gets my attention, which it should. It's also a nice detail with the fish, as it helps make sure people see his adorable face first. The shadows are GREAT! I can definitely tell that you are getting better as time goes by, this is in terms of your shadows, hand-painted textures, Coloring, Reflections, and generally detail. Il est vraiment adorable, la pose est très réussie ainsi que les textures.
Si je devais faire une remarque ce serai par rapport a son "Γ©paule" gauche -celle de l'aile- ; je pense qu''elle ne serait pas visible dans cette perspective.
