do you edit an already existing coat of armsΒ

Most of the time I take little elements from existing works (for example the mantle, the scepters, the crown etc.) and edit them together. For this specific thing I did a lot myself (the plants and the orders).

But I use GIMP2 for all of this. It's a basic freeware tool.
