Description Apparently there's a race of dinosaur people in D&D, so why not? XD

ANYWAY UH...I have to go eat dinner. So no description yet. I'll allow you to ponder on this for a bit, so I'll see ya when I get back!'

EDIT: Got most of their bios down! Two remaining, but I need to take a nap. XD
(NOT TO MENTION...Argus, a character mentioned in Emela's bio, belongs to ! )

--------------------------

The Saurian Kingdom
- This Kingdom in particular dates back a very long time into the past. A land of fern trees and cycads, extinct volcanoes, swamps, and of course, prehistoric wildlife. All preceded by a medieval society. Castles surrounded by motes of tar. Volcanic pits made into blacksmithing forges. Hunting grounds, where carnivorous Saurial search for game. And yet for all of its medieval glory, the Saurian Kingdom is VERY slow to advance on its own. In times of strife, they look to past civilizations who suffered similar crises, to figure out what to do in times of present struggle. Yet their lack of inventive thinking comes to their undoing, when markers of their past (ancient scriptures, artifacts, inventions, etc) have been systematically destroyed by fire. In their current time of need, they must either search for more hidden relics. Or figure out a way to move past this on their own.

-------------------------

Europa (Amargasaurus) - She is a sorceress of Ice. One who is innately skilled in the art of Frost Magic. An elemental affinity much-feared by the Saurials, for they are biologically VERY weak against its power. For generations, Europa's noble family had been influential and powerful. Yet...her family tree had dwindled significantly in number. Some, from getting themselves killed in an attempt to use their Frost Magic to seize political power. Others from getting exiled from their former territory, and starving to death on the Airship Ride over. Europa, her mother Telephassa, and those remaining are still much beloved by the people of the Saurian Kingdom. But they are few in number. And so...Europa takes it upon herself to keep her family alive. Whether she uses technology. Or becomes pregnant with an heir. Or wages war against the Kingdom's enemies, whilst negotiating peace with others. She will do what she must.

Emela (Stygimoloch) - She is the brutal and boisterous warrior of the Saurial people, and the bodyguard of Ntouka. With a thick skull, and a thirst for battle, she is the type of warrior to charge into waves of enemies with impunity. Yet she's not entirely fearless. Because...once, a terrible incident had occurred, as Emela went to go buy some weapons from her favorite Blacksmith Shop, "Arestor's Irons". And while his son, Argus, was getting supplies, the store caught fire! Her attempts to rescue Arestor had ended with her being trapped under literal tons of burning rubble. And unable to save Arestor from death. The incident...ever since then, it had given Emela a phobia towards fire. And a guilt driving her to search for a truly good and noble cause to fight for. To atone for being unable to save her favorite blacksmith.

Ntouka (Chasmosaurus) - He is an influential ambassador of the Saurials, and a mouthpiece of the Saurian Kingdom. He is a gentleman of wealth and taste, and high vocabulary with a Southern-esque accent to boot! He's the kind of fellow who enjoys fancy dinner parties with Lady Europa, as well as philosophical debates. Which is why it's so strange that he considers his EMELA of all people as his best friend (and possibly lover, if rumors are correct). To add to the irony, he also shares her fear of fire, due to an incident of his own. Where a museum/library he once owned, "Ntouka's Knowledge Vault", was burned down just like Arestor's Irons, ending with his possession, and nearly his life, being taken from him. He understands Emela's fear...and thus, they both try to raise each other up, after the tragedies that almost burnt them down.

Kongamato (Hatzegopteryx) - He used to be evil. Back during the day, he was a practicioner of the Dark Arts, and a veritable tyrant of the skies. When he flew with black smog trailing behind him, and with sacrificial knives in hand, towns and villages were sent into terror by the sight of it. And his power was so fearsome, few dared to resist him, and bowed to his will. However...his reign had been brought to an end, by another Hatzegopteryx named "Cairo". One even more violent than him, who cut, mutilated, and ran him through. He would have died...were it not for other Saurials, including Lady Europa and Ntouka, taking mercy on him. Giving him a second chance. Realizing the error of his ways, he'd been humbled. He sought to better himself a little every day. And take down his usurper once and for all, so no one may ever again reclaim title of "Tyrant of the Skies".

Stone-Man Tipsy - He is a former professor of the magic school known as Empyrean Academy. A rather bizarre fellow too, who always enjoyed a hands-on approach to academic learning. Which definitely explains why paleontology and archaeology was such a favorite field of his. HOWEVER...his life changed greatly, upon finding a Carbon Dating Device. A piece of tech that allows one to glean accurate dates from items buried underground on-site, as well as analyzing traces of other substances around it. With how difficult Carbon Dating was to begin with, this was a blessing! One which drove Tipsy to simply quit his job, and begin exploring the world's buried mysteries. An adventure which ended with him crash-landing in the Saurian Kingdoms. And a decision he NEVER regretted once, since then.

Gustav (Crocodilian) - He is the lifelong partner of Tipsy, ever since they were children. Normally, Crocodilians are a race very rarely regarded by others, much less in a positive light. Reclusive swamp-dwellers, brainless muscles-for-hire, suspicious towards mammals...that kind of thing. Except Gustav never grew up with his own people, since his father's an idiot. And his mom pretty much rage quit on the family, letting her eggs simply fend for themselves so she wouldn't have to spend another minute with him! Rather, he grew up alongside Stone-Man Tipsy, as pretty much a surrogate brother! And through going to school, and through his new adventures, he always remains by Tipsy's side. Especially when it comes to minding him during his crazy moments.

Tesla (Shocker Lizard) - TBA

Boa (Naga) - She is a stowaway from a Kingdom that once hated her. You see, Nagas tend to draw mixed opinions from various races. Some of them see Nagas as a valuable asset to help fight against Rahab and his evil forces. Others see Nagas as corruptions waiting to happen, or even as enemies secretly plotting against Cauldron and its people. Boa needed to move several times, simply due to having rotten luck with which Kingdom to stay in. So it happened...when she finally got caught stowing aboard an airship, she had almost been thrown out. Were it not for Gustav saving her, by paying for her ride, and offering her to sit with him. Gustav had been smitten by Boa's beauty, and Boa was flattered by Gustav's compassion. The start of a beautiful relationship, so to speak.

Pythagoras, Socrates, and Aristotle (Hydra) - TBA

Woooo, it's Stone(d)-man Tipsy and his epic bunch of reptilians!

For me it's incredibly cool to see them in different take, because it gives me an insight
into their personalities and nature as original Pokemon-universe characters
Not to mention, just seeing Saurials, woohooo~!

Now let me say my two cents about the team...

Europa:
Somehow I cannot shake off the memory of Baylene from Disney's Dinosaur movie where she was the last of her kind,
but when not thinking about it, knowing that her Frost magic mastery is feared, it's not far-fetched to think
some could target them or make conspiracy theories just to fuel hate that could raise the anger against them.

Emela:
She just looks cool and I love the fact you connected her with blacksmith AND the fear of fire.
Boy, that is potential for some drama moments when someone could be in danger with fire occuring on the scene...!

Ntouka:
Ahhhh, my love for ceratopsians just raises to the ceiling when reading his Bio and seeing such noble stand :'>
I think that to give him the fear to fire as well, why not refer to the real life tragedies such as burning of Library of Alexandria
...and very recent burning of Brasil's National museum.
Such loss...to the culture...to the history...and maybe even people- erm, Saurials that wanted to save priceless artifacts.
I think he could be the owner of such museum and experiencing tragic event with fire involved could make him
relate with Emela on how they both feel towards this element.

Kongamato:
wow, he looks really neat, i have to say~
I think that to give nore solid ground to how he redeemed himself, I can imagine he used to be evil
to get things by cheap tactics, gain respect out of terror as this is just what he experienced from his tribe(?)
and never thought what's important in live being young lone wolf. He thought that cooperation and working
in groups is for weak. But after the fight and taking time to cure his wounds...he came to realizattion he was wrong.

I think his kind could also have some elementa mastery, maybe the air element- AND to tie it with pressure.
These giants of the sky can learn to take out the air from their enemies breath to weaken them,
then sweep of their feet with a blast of the wing given by swishing the hand in the air,
but on the better side, this could work as supportive or nursery thing, creating a wind that pushes a bit the allies
and slows down the enemies, gently pump in the air into lungs of weakened to give them "life energy"
that restores faster their magic capabilities. This kind of magic his kind knows was unknown to Kongamato
untill he met Europa and Ntouka. He could also use his great determination to create an air spell
to change the trajectory of attacking spells, if not even bounce them back! Or boost fire spells by fueling them with the wind.

Stone-man Tipsy:
Hmmm, so is he teaching Saurians with his knowledge from empyrean academy, or testing what he knew so far, or gathering
the knowledge about them in order to look from the third-person persective in order to solve some problems/conflicts?
I just wonder what's his role there....

Gustav:

A-hem, pardon, but instead of mentioning his father, I womder rather what about his mother...as we know that crocodile mom's are best!
...so she left her mate right after Gustav's clutch of eggs was layed or did she....wait, no, maybe let's not overflood some Bios with tragedy and death.
His father was so annoying, air-headed and immature that she rage-quit after laying eggs, rather leaving her babies to death than to try raising them
alongside such douchebag.
No one knows if she's still alive....maybe.

Boa:
I really like her background, I just really do :>

Hope to see about Tesla and the trio of great minds
(so do Hydras normally have wings there or is it something supernatural he worked on himself,
to reflect how he has legs and artifical arms in Pokemon universe?)

Hooooly moly, such amazing comments!! Aww man, this is such great feedback, I can't even. @_@

---------------

- Funny thing, I didn't even have Baylene in mind at the time. But now that I think about, I CAN see a kind of "last of her kind" type of thing! Granted she still has time before her family line goes down the drain. Although the trick now is simply keeping the rest of her family in good hands.

---------------

- You know...that would actually be a REALLY good explanation for Ntouka's fear of fire! Perhaps a museum or library he owned had been burned, while he was still inside it, thus, making him bear witness to his prized possessions, AND his life almost being taken from him. His attempts to save some of his artifacts only further endangering him. He survived the incident, thanks to Europa helping put it out. Albeit...with a soot-covered coin as a memento. And a fear of fire. And how mindless and indiscriminate it is in its destruction.

----------------

- Tipsy, he was actually kind of tricky for me, since he didn't really tie into the others' stories so well. But let's say...the Saurial of the present day have been getting quite mixed up in conflict, and general strife. In no small part due to Sea Serpents, poachers of their local wildlife, usurpers of political power...as a result, many Saurial believe that the answers to their problems lie in looking to the past. Artifacts, historical scriptures, maybe even old technology! Finding out how people prevailed in times of difficulty back then, to ensure their success now.

...which is why they've been crippled thanks to these things being destroyed all across the Kingdom. ESPECIALLY in "Ntouka's Knowledge Vault", which was prized all over the Kingdom! So here, it falls onto Tipsy, with the help of his Carbon Dating Device, to unearth the secrets of the past, to help the Saurial people look forward to their future.

-----------------------

Meanwhile, hmm...I kinda got this Hydra Design from "Magic: The Gathering", but I can't help but feel I need to redesign him. I suppose I'll keep working on it!

But in the meanwhile, I'm gonna go to bed. And thank you SO much for the amazing comment!!

I like how you worked Argus into Emela's bio. It's true that their Blacksmith would be very popular and thus have clientele so dedicated to their weaponry that they'd risk life and limb to save the man who made it. But with his son gone, who could possibly craft weapons with the same nuances as theirs?

Also, just a few details regarding Argus that I forgot to mention.:

-Frozen Forge is a shoulder-mounted cannon. Much like that of a Predator, but larger. Considering Argus' already large size, it would likely be about the size of a jet engine(Or is that part a turbine? The part under the wing that spins and is dangerous to be near while wearing a cape. That.)

-His armor is more like a tunic of armor than a full suit of armor. It is plated in a similar way to the Destroyer from Thor(This thing: img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20… ). But obviously with a different head. Just use the Destroyer as a base and create the armor as you see fit from there. He made it without all of the proper tools, so some parts might even be a bit rough in their shaping or something. His knees and shins are not covered by the armor. Same for his arms starting from the elbows.

-The loss of his old life has changed him. He is not so much stoic, as just quiet in general. His words aren't measured and careful, he simply decides not to speak much. It's his way of coping.

It's great to see the Professor and Gustav again but why do I have the feeling that Chaos is going to hang around them so much, to the point where she is considered an honourary member of the crew....

Oh wow, if I didn't know any better I'd say Gustav looked like a Kremling from Nintendo! XD Boa looks really hot, though I will miss her legs, granted this is of course different to the Sonic and Pokemon universe versions of her. And Stone-Man is what they're calling ya now Tipsy? Anyway, really impressive work!

I want to make an ankylosaurus character who is pretty much a walking armored tank. Like Mega Blastoise meets Middle Ages knights meets [insert spiky animal of choice here].

If the one second-from-the-left is already an Ankylosaurus, then I have a similar idea for a Pachycephalosaurus(I know that is spelled wrong, but I also know that you know exactly what dinosaur I'm talking about.).

Ahh, second from the left is actually a Stygimoloch, which is a relative of Pachycephalosaurus. Which means that the Ankylosaurus slot is still perfectly open!

Since these are their own race now instead of Pokemon, I'd love to see what you can come up with for an Ankylosaurus Saurial. ^^

Argus is his name and this is his story:

A skilled metalworker, he used to have a weapons shop he ran alongside his dad. But both his dad and their shop went up in smoke when some sort of "accidental fire" occurred. He'd gone to get some supplies at the time. So he doesn't know who he could trust to tell him the truth about the blaze. As he looked upon the smoldering remains of his old life, he noticed two things: the forge was perfectly intact and there was a single piece of wood still on fire. He had the supplies, he had his forge(which doesn't easily burn down since it is made of stone and is supposed to be lit on fire), and he had the last burning light of his father's dream in his heart and in his hand. He lit the forge and got to work.
Using any tools he had and improvising others, he made a suit of armor that fit around his spikes with a helmet fit for a warring general(something like a Fire Nation helmet without the mask). He didn't know who did this, but he knew it had happened to many others as well. This wasn't simply revenge. It was JUSTICE! And if it came to that, it may even be war.... He promised his dad he would never go to war, but this was him protecting himself and only himself. He would become an army of one if that's what must happen.
He began seeking out a weapon worthy of his cause. He was never very good with magic, so he gave that a hard pass. Though an enchanted weapon may be able to give him magic power in a way he can use. His search eventually brought him to a remote part of the Luck Kingdom. He saw a high-roller arms-dealer who was betting some of his stock. The poor guy must've run out of money but couldn't seem to quit. He stepped up to challenge him saying "Deal me in, this guy could use someone less skilled than the Dealer to earn back some self-respect at the very least." The man immediately accepted and Argus bet a small, yet heavy sack of coin. He asked the man "Do you mind if I ask for a specific weapon to be your bet? If I lose, you get this money but I will gladly buy it off of you afterwards rather than press my luck." He agreed and showed Argus his wares that were still left. Immediately, he saw one that would be exactly what he needed.
"How about that fancy-looking Ice Cannon? I've never seen anything like it and it strikes my craftsman heart with endless curiosity." the hand was dealt and the winner decided. The man once again had money to bet instead of weaponry. But true to his word, he asked to buy it off of him then and there. The man, clearly grateful and wanting to get even more money, said "Ah, so you re a craftsman of weaponry as well? You must have fallen on hard times to be somewhere like this my friend. Since I have already taken a large sum of your money, I shall give you a discount on this Ice Cannon." And, true to HIS word, he gave Argus a price that was half of what it usually sold for, or so the man says. But it didn't matter, he had a fine weapon now and still had a decent sum of money to get by on.
He needed some sort of benefactor though. Someone to help fund his search and aid him with a few good warriors willing to assist. Taking quests was a viable way to earn money. So he decided to join the Gizmo Guild. It turns out that the man had found a piece of technology, not made a fine magitech weapon. He had, however, enchanted it to shoot ice-magic projectiles and beams. Wanting to know more about this "tech" just as much as this guild, he was accepted with open arms and found his new place among those living at the guild's residential area. Room-and-Board were covered with his membership fee. The nice Menehune who gave the tour didn't seem intimidated by his rather large size. She, like many others there, welcomed him with open arms. He had found his new home. He called his Ice Cannon "Frozen Forge". Because his forge will forever remain cold now that his father is gone and he is no longer there to light it each morning.
