Description
Heheheh, betcha didn't see this coming, didja? This was kind of a recommendation from , mostly since this'd be a good opportunity to see where WE fit in compared to the rest of the galaxy. Hooboy...get ready for a ride guys! The humans here are...- Takeru Nakatani. An top-of-the-class Japanese exchange student, and from a rich family who paid for his education. He signed up to Exo-Station, not only for cheap, hyper-advanced learning, but also for a chance to gain friends, and a more normal life! Alas...when he got there, it was full of aliens, and spent most of the day freaking out! Although, at the end of the day, while not a complete xenophobe thanks to Nicole's help, he IS driven to be better than his alien peers. I should also mention, he's VERY pro-human. (belongs to )
- Nicole Givens. A top-of-the-class American exchange student, and from a relatively normal family with a normal background. She's the exact opposite of Takeru, being successful in school like him. Yet being utterly unmotivated by normal academics, and completely bored with everyday human life. She went to Exo-Station to have a little more excitement in her daily life, and as a result, is completely fine with alien company and cultural differences. She is most often seen with Takeru, who needs her help to get around. (belongs to )
- Tara Watts. A normal teenage American girl, whose very bizarre family had moved to Proxima City for new job opportunities. More than anything else, she wanted normality, and to fit in with the crowd. However, she is thrust into a school full of aliens, and freaks out at everything JUST like Takeru. Only faring slightly better than him. Although after meeting many new friends, she resolves to buckle down and study aliens and their culture, so she'll know and understand who's who, and what's what around these parts.
- Neil Blues. A teenage Canadian boy, who is an unabashed lover of video games and anime. While he is mostly introverted, he is quite social when among a small circle of friends. He's also very patient and chill, hardly ever getting mad. Unlike many of the students displayed here, he practically jumped at the chance to go to Exo-Station High, seeing it as a sort of Sci-Fi dream come true! From there on out, he's made a circle of great friends, comfortable around his strange alien peers, and enjoying their culture wherever it shows up. (belongs to )
- Aimee Brightower. A top-of-the-class American exchange student, and used to be the school nerd. She was highly popular among teachers and staff, but was an unpopular, geeky wallflower nobody else wanted to hang out with. So, she went to Exo-Station High to get a better education, and to perhaps find a more accepting community. Which, funny enough, she did! She made her own circle of friends as well, and enjoys popularity like nothing ever before, quickly rising the ranks to become popular with her fellow alien peers. (Belongs to Galaxy High)
- Doyle Cleverlobe. An athletic American excahnge student, who used to be the school's biggest hero back on Earth. He used to be quite the arrogant braggart, with the athletic skill to make people love him, yet didn't care a lick about his education. As a result, he was sent here to get his grades back up, to make up for his negligence. He had almost thought he'd be able to coast by on popularity again...until his arrogance, lack of intelligence, AND physical weakness isolated him. Now, he tries very hard to earn the attention and approval of his peers. (Belongs to Galaxy High)
---------------------
It's us...the Human race, a race of primate-descended people who live on planet Earth. A Garden World with a huge amount of biodiversity, mostly filled with water, and is a popular tourist destination for aliens.
About BIOLOGY:
- Human language is consisted of vocal speech. Yet they suffer a strange phenomenon called the "Tower of Babel Phenomenon", which causes them to have so many different languages, they find it highly difficult to understand one another without extensive education, or technological assistance.
- Humans have five primary sense they rely on. Sight, smell, taste, touch and hearing, and have an organ(s) contributed to each one. Namely two eyes, two ears, one mouth with a tongue, fingers with identifying pads known as "fingerprints", and a nose.
- Skin is the most sensitive part of a human's body, and as such is susceptible to temperature extremes. To rectify this, humans cover themselves with clothes, not only to regulate their temperature, but also to make fashion statements. They are inexplicably uncomfortable with allowing themselves to be seen without clothes, even if it is not necessary for the current climate.
- Humans have two arms and two legs, which they use to navigate the world around them, and manipulate things. However, they seem to have no sort of natural weaponry, making them physically fragile compared to many alien species.
- Humans come in two sexes, male and female. They reproduce with sexual reproduction, mostly with only one female and one male involved. During certain times, it's very easy for a female to become pregnant, but the process of pregnancy takes a staggering 9 months to complete! Human bodies are bizarrely maladjusted to carry infants, causing the mother frequent pain and sickness.
- Humans have various appendages that others of their species find attractive. On males, muscular physique and large phalluses are arousing factors. Likewise, on females, it's their mammaries, skin, and buttocks. However, against all reason, humans feel the need to cover these up with clothes, when it would be arguably more logical for them to display these openly.
- Human DNA is very fragile, and susceptible to a number of different diseases, mutations, and other various maladies that may change it. Yet it's also the perfect medicine to combat the synano-plague known as S.L.I.M.E, which is dissolved upon contact with Human DNA.
About CULTURE:
- Studying Humans is an incredibly confusing affair. They're just so...contrary, in every way possible.
- Humans have been separated from each other for thousands of years. As a result, human culture has become very divided from each other, fracturing into hundreds of different cultures, each with their own beliefs, customs, appearances, and such. It is far more common for people to appreciate different cultures now than it was back then.
- These divides go even further, to the point where each individual human is defined by a personality, which separates them from others. Humans primarily socialize by interacting with other Humans who are much like themselves, to make it easier existing in a world full of differences and divides.
- Because humans have divided in such a way, they were, and still are notoriously bad at reaching consensus among their own population, with differing opinions often resulting in unnecessary conflict. Including numerous wars, that human nations fight by creating various weapons and strategies with which to kill members of the opposing side. Before the Terran Invasion of 1947, they created an Atomic Bomb, which can kill millions at once.
(NOTE: Conflict IS indeed a common part of developing civilizations, especially if they were decsended from carnivores. But compared to us aliens, humans are outside the norm, in that their wars are tailored to kill and destroy the opposing side. And while other species try to outgrow war with better technology, humans have used technology to improve the ability to wage war. This exceptionally violent nature of solving conflict is why humans are banned from having a military, or from having people in power capable of declaring war.)
- Human entertainment primarily focuses on the stimulation of one or more of these primary senses. They make good food to stimulate taste, music to stimulate hearing, perfumes/colognes and fragrances to stimulate smell, visual art and digital entertainment to stimulate sight, and intimacy to stimulate touch. Human entertainment is notable as being highly successful among aliens with the senses to enjoy them.
- One thing many human cultures have in common is that religion is a prominent part of their lives and society. When done correctly, this has the benefit of bringing comfort, order and meaning into the lives of groups who practice it. But in the hands of bad people, it can have horrible consequences, when one or more cultures attempts to force their religions and customs on others with violence. Again, something that happens often because of they are socially fractured.
- Humans have very mixed feelings towards relationships and sexuality. The generally accepted practice is to have emotional and intimate attachment to one mate. However, humans have a tendency to seek other partners for reproduction, which causes anger in their already chosen mate. Not to mention, humans are bizarrely squeamish towards the aspect of sex, shunning it during their daily lives even though it's merely part of their biology.
- For much of its history, Humanity is...easily frightened. Especially of what they don't understand. This definitely includes alien beings such as myself who don't resemble them, as our first arrival onto Earth in 1947 had terrified them. Partly because our mere existence went against every pro-Human belief they've ever known, and partly because they had convinced themselves we were evil, and needed to be stopped for the good of their planet.
- Humans are all different from each other. That is why we advise you to take caution before passing judgement on their actions or personality.

I think I have two more humans to contribute.
Catherine 'Cathy' Fritz
Species: P.Dutch Human
Unit: I have no idea yet (Probably Unit Sol)
Appearance: A dirty blonde with white-ish pink-ish skin who wears her hair in a ponytail. She often just wears black dress pants and a red shirt with a black sash.
She also wears a weird necklace:
rlv.zcache.com/distlefink_gree…
Personality: Most humans who come to Exo-Station High don't like sharing their culture with aliens - this is where Cathy comes in. Cathy not only saw this as an academic opportunity, but an opportunity to share her small culture to lots of different aliens while the others are being pro or anti human. She seems to pride herself of her home and her culture. Insectons love her the most for introducing them to a sweet Earth meat known as 'Lebanon Bologna'.
Aurnia Burke
Species: Irish Human
Unit: I have no idea for her either (Probably Unit Mars)
Appearance: A red haired human with pale freckled skin. She's more flat chested than most of the other human girls at the school. She wears a frumpy green sweater and blue jeans and black boots.
Personality: This human sees beauty in mostly everything. From the aliens she knows at Exo-Station to old human warfare and transportation mechanics that have been left behind. She's developed both kleptomania and quite a lot of strength from dragging old rusted parts that haven't been salvaged yet back to her home in an attempt to preserve old world technology for future generations in this new alien world.

I have an idea for two more , since I like the idea of different humans in Exo-Station and the humor it might bring to the aliens.
Julie Lawrence
Species: African American Human
Unit: Probably Unit Mercury
Appearance: A brown skinned human with shoulder length black hair and round glasses. She wears a lavender jacket over top a green and white striped shirt as well as a long dark grey skirt.
Personality: She sees this as an opportunity to better advance her knowledge of technology while at the school. She is a lot more wacky-ier than any other human student at Exo-Station High. She loves to share internet memes with her alien peers and frequents the/co/ and /a/ boards on 4chan. She also likes introducing aliens to older tv programming such MS3TK.
Hyeon Yi
Species: Korean Human
Unit: Unit Sol or Jupiter
Appearance: An attractive man with short black hair that he sometimes dyes multiple different colors. He only wears designer clothes, such as jeans, t-shirts, jackets, and long-sleeved shirts. Basically a K- Pop star.
Personality: An idol in his home country, he set his eyes on Exo-Station to extend his popularity to aliens as well as other earthlings like himself at the school. He's pro-human much like Nitya and Takeru, but will speak to aliens he finds conventionally attractive.
He's quite narcissistic for a person and shares a rivalry with Takeru due to the animosity towards each other's nations.

Oooh, just saw this recently. Thank ya for another great contribution dude! And another masterful subversion of racial stereotyping, to bring more real and unique people to Exo-Station!
- I like to imagine Julie is just a really funny person to be around. Instead of being a stereotypical "Uncle Tomfoolery" kind of character as seen in most older fictional works, she'd be more like any other teen you'd meet, only several times denser and wackier. Kind of has this Haruko Haruhara kind of feel, as she combines eccentric energy and absurdist humor with...Internet. Lots and lots of Internet.
- Somehow Hyeon is an interesting case to me. Maybe, he is considered pro-human, or rather, pro-himself, as he tries to vouch for his skills in a bid to become more famous than he already is. He doesn't have a particularly bad opinion of aliens, except those with no sense of hearing. He just kinda sees the alien student body as another audience he'll awe to become more popular.
Not to mention...he especially enjoys the school's hot alien girls, but prefers to make them think he's just being generous when speaking to them, or taking them out for dates.

That's basically the idea had for Julie in the first place, minus the Haruko Haruhara part.
I love the idea of him wanting the hot alien chicks at the school, but then telling them they should be thankful going out and speaking to a super star like him.

Humans are really weird in terms of culture and religion, sometimes they are anthropocentric when it comes to imagining entities from other worlds including gods, it even extends to imagining human aliens or rubber forehead aliens.
however, some really weird stuff that humans have imagined in the past involved things like Angels, but not winged humanoids, they were like bizarre alien things that have wings with eyes, flaming wings, eye-covered wheels that spin and intersect with each other, even God itself has not been able to be seen by mortals in the Bible, basically these people imagined weird Starfish Aliens before the sci-fi genre.

Really, anthropocentric thinking is a very odd phenomena that tends to confuse many aliens. By default, when thinking of life from other worlds, or even supernatural entities, we almost always tend to think of it as looking like ourselves. When in reality, another being's "otherness" isn't SUPPOSED to make a human feel comfortable!
- Ancient alien attempts to fit in with human civilization have caused numerous religions centered around them to rise up, even though advanced aliens are forbidden from posing as gods.
- Aliens think God would look like a giant, sentient galaxy, with numerous stars as His many eyes, and dark matter as His invisible hands of universal creation. Basically, a physical embodiment of the universe itself. And Humans are SO weird for thinking a creation deity would look ANYTHING like themselves.
- When humans think that they were created by a progenitor race, they almost always assume that they exist for a greater purpose. Knowing this is most likely the Annunaki we're talking about...they're probably gonna hate the answer to their existential questions.

Girkela: *An aspiring Heraka naturalist and big game hunter, lean and decorated with a beautiful scale pattern, had joined the odd trio as their latest member, and joined them in reading up on human beings.* How the hell did the survive this long? These are some plucky little soft-skins.

(Hey, was just passing through the comments and saw this poor ignored rp starter! Mind if I add on? xD)
As the four aliens were researching on humans, a live one, Neil Blues, walked behind them when he heard their comments. Curious, he glanced at their holo-books to see which was the lucky species to be studied by these aliens.
Neil: Eh, I wouldn't really call ourselves weird... I think adaptive would be the correct term!
When Vido, Tog, Domira and Girkela turned around, they saw the Canadian waving at them with a smile.

Vido: I am s-so...s-s-so s-sorry, p-please.
Tog: Yes. Sorry. *His scent translator made his voice sound mechanical and flat.*

*He then turned towards Domira and Girkela, who had different reactions.*

Domira: Ah, you see, Vedalken like myself strive to make everything as efficient and perfect as possible, including our own bodies. *She displayed her four arms and six fingers.* A lot of parts of our physiology was biologically constructed, not natural. Anyway, learning more about different species will help Vedalken bio-architects to better control and shape our genes. Fillians like Vido, for example, can grow muscles at an incredibly fast rate with little effort, while Heraka like Girkela here grow muscles in incredibly tight, dense strands. Combined, you could have someone able to effortlessly generate muscle, which would grow so dense it would essentially operate like under-skin armor.

You're welcome
Well...would the apes from the various 'Planet Of The Apes' movies be able to be in this?
(I'm curious as I like P.o.t.A and considering they inhabit earth etc.)

Funny thing, I think I can see that happening! Albeit with a twist.
I think Humans DID cause Apes to become sentient, probably during a medical project? Most likely during SOME kind of independent study, in an attempt to prove they don't need alien assistance. One of many bids for independence that tends to end in tears.
But unlike before, Humanity couldn't just write off that mistake and attempt to continue treating them as non-sentient. Galactic Security found out about it, and after some confirmation, had officially declared the Apes to be a sentient species. Chimpanzees, Bonobos, Gorillas, Orangutans, the lot of them! And they're students at HSIS too, learning to teach their fellow apes how to continue rising the ranks!

Sweet
that is a really clever and well thought twist
i'm really liking that thought
might try to make an ape student
emphasis on MIGHT as i have already made 2 for your series
...buuut i'v been struggling for pic ideas, so its more plausible to happen

Only if ya want dude! But either way, any new face in HSIS is greatly appreciated! And surely to show up in my gallery at some point or another!
Either way, thank ya very much for the great idea!

Kind of wondered that myself, although I think I have a general idea! According to the Planet of the Apes...
- Chimpanzees are basically the smart ones of the lot, being Intellectuals and Scientists, so a Chimpanzee student would most likely be a Unit Mercury.
- Orangutans are more for supporting law and order, being Politicians and Administrators, so an Orangutan student would most likely be a Unit Saturn.
- Gorillas are the strongest of the whole lot, yet gentle as well, being Military Officers and Police Officers, so a Gorilla student could be Unit Saturn or Mars.
And two more of my own....
- Gibbons aren't as intelligent, but highly versatile, and pretty eccentric, being General Workers. They could be any unit, but with a dose of crazy to go with it.
- Bonobos are kind of like the Chimpanzees, but a lot more pleasure-oriented, being Hedonists. Bonobo students could easily fit into Unit Neptune.

Oooooh, dude, now THAT'S a nice surprise! Instantly made my day better! xD
Seriously though, Neil is exactly how I imagined him to be, so I give you 10/10 on his design
The other humans here are also well done, they make for good diversity x)

Thank ya very much dude!!
Oh goodie, I got him right! I'm surprised I JUST got to him recently, considering he's been a long-time player so far!
Yeeeah! Figured that there should be more humans in HSIS. They're pretty rare in HSIS, but they tend to bring a new point of view towards aliens, which I enjoy a ton. ^^ So they might not be the only ones we'll see!

Hey, it's alright! I mean, I first commented on the RPS to do a roleplay, not to have an artwork of my character xD (Although I'm still really happy you did!)
Considering Exo-Station High is right above Earth, it's hard to imagine there would be few humans ^^' So we have Americans, a Canadian and an Asian... For even more diversity, maybe you could add humans from a lot of different cultures like, let's say a Mexican, an African, maybe a European or an Australian? As said in this race bio, diversity is pretty much our most definite feature xD

Aaaah, I getcha dude! I mean there is admittedly a ton of different nations on Earth, many of which could probably benefit from having Exo-Station's education curriculum.
Similar to how there are lots of different Reticulans, or lots of different Reptoids!
Although tricky business figuring out where to start...I'll have to think on that for a bit!

Well, if it can save you some time, I can make up the bios for the other humans, if you want ^^

Just a few bios would be helpful, if that's okay!
It'd KINDA be like a Multinational Team, in that you have Human students from different nations attending. But the justification for it would be that this school is an incredible opportunity to bring something more to their homes. Since it doesn't run on Human Economy, the doors are wide open for them.
And not to mention, less stereotyping, to FURTHER display capacity for human diversity! Which in turn FURTHER confuses aliens trying to interact with them! XD

Alright, I think I got a few ideas! ^^ Feel free to change anything if you've got a better idea!
Liam Smith (because every series seems to have a Smith hidden somewhere)
Species: British Human
Unit: Luna
Appearance: (Don't have any fitting appearance for him, unfortunately Although I do see him with long, dark hair, dark eyes and a permanent serious face...)
Personality: Let's go straight to the point with Liam: he hates humanity for being as denying and violent as they were when they first made contact with aliens. Every being should be equal, no matter the species, mentality, natural intelligence, physical strength... He voices his opinion through poetry, his work mostly about equality between races. He always seems serious and doesn't have many friends outside of those in Unit Luna who share his opinion.
Alejandro Puel
Species: Mexican Human
Unit: Jupiter
Appearance: Alejandro has a very classy look, with medium-length, combed brown hair and dark eyes. His outfit is composed of an extremely classy white suit with a golden tie and linings. He has a fancy-looking watch on his left wrist.
Personality: While not exactly a jerk about it, Alejandro loves to remind others of his family's wealth by constantly making allusions to his money. His father owns a very successful company while his mother is a surgeon, both getting immense salaries! He doesn't bother with friends, although he keeps in touch with his fellow rich people in Unit Jupiter.
Bastian Ryan
Species: African-American
Unit: Cliqueless
Appearance: To put it mildly, Bastian is a tall, overweight bastard with an imposing physique. His leather jacket and baggy pants certainly don't help in this factor at all...
Personality: Bastian is a bullying, cowardly jerk, that's pretty much all there is to say. He chose to go to Exo-Station because of its cheapness and the multitude of smaller creatures he could bully and render life miserable. He always attack shorter than him and belittles them (no pun intended) to the point of depression if he's not stopped. No one knows his motive, but some say he's jealous of others because he's said to have had a terrible childhood and general life back on Earth. Maybe he can be turned the right way?
So? How does that sound for now? ^^

Wow dude....this is a lot, and it's AWESOME! XD
- I like how Alejandro is actually really far away from a stereotypical Token ghetto kid, mostly by actually being rich and cultured! As it is, that's something people rarely expect! But I think to make things better, he might generally spend his wealth on space goods, whose stellar quality tends to appeal to him.
- I imagine Liam Smith as being this tall, dour-looking person with a hook nose, dark-colored clothes, a beanie, and maybe platinum-blonde hair. Perhaps the only kinds of humans he even thinks about respecting are the ones willing to look at alien beings as equals, rather than an enemy that needs to be defeated, or anything of the sort. As such, he garners respect from those who enjoy his work.
- Someone would EXPECT Bastian to be this sassy, angry African American. Except he's actually rather quiet, letting his terrible actions do the talking for him. He gives no sign of being provoked, instead just making people's lives miserable on a whim. Although he is rightly noted to be a social pariah among his community back on Earth rather than a standard example.

Wooo, thanks a lot! Glad to see I'm of assistance xD
- Yeah, that's pretty much what I've planned for him! As well as a free, higher education in Exo-Station High, being there gives him easier access to space products which can be somewhat hard to get on Earth. It wouldn't be surprising to see him buy a costly, fancy spaceship to travel in.
- Ooh, that's actually a good design for Liam! Really fits the "I hate humanity" part! Going to this school was probably the best thing that could happen in his life as he literally goes away from the humans he hates (except the earthling students, of course) for a period of 36 hours. Still, when not at school, he can't simply lock himself home to create more of his poetry.
- Yep, that's Bastian alright... He bullies others on simple whims of jealousy. And he's not exactly dumb. He's a bully, yeah, but he's not the "super-strong" type of bully who always fight to assert his dominance. He's rather cowardly, in fact!, and would rather intimidate smaller, easily frightened aliens than others his size who would either fight back or directly go to the personnel or Unit Saturn.
