Description
Okiedoke, so this is probably the first piece of art I've actually dedicated to this! And since it's almost my bedtime, well, I'll summarize it for you...This is basically a depiction of the worst week ever. For literally everyone involved! Here's an explanation of what went on during these scenes!
(ALSO, Domira and Jason Merrin belong to )
Not to mention, Panacea and Week-XK happen at exactly the same time. No need to worry about Tara, cuz she manages to get herself out of a bad pickle!
I'd worry more about the Panacea crew who probably isn't as desensitized to Weirdness as Tara is! Prepare your sanity for this, friends and brave volunteers.
-------------------------------
Panacea 1) It's the gang's first night in Gravity Falls, and they have decided to split up, to save time. However...they know not of what dwells in these forests. In this case, perhaps it was best that the things lurking there that night were concealed in shadow. Whatever the case...they were being watched. Always.
In the woods of Gravity Falls, there are eyes everywhere.
Watts and Jason have been rivals for a long time, although have recently become earnest friends. Yet being in such peril drives them to depend on each other now more than ever...
-------------------------------
Panacea 2) Domira was a person who questioned things. In contrast to her friend Tara Watts who, when confronted with something especially confounding, had always said "Don't think about it". Were it so easy for Domira...
Something she took note of was that Weirdness Magnetism people and places are two completely different things. A person's magnetism tends to wildly fluctuate, spontaneously generating new weird things depending on their emotional stability. Tara's life was as chaotic as it was, because she grew up being a very emotional girl.
But an entire place? The weirdness was constant. Consistent. It was normal. And yet, the land shows signs of being sick, presumably from an upheaval that occurred before they got here. After all, giant woodpeckers are becoming increasingly common...she just had the misfortune of running into one that vomited up Weirdness Bubbles.
-------------------------------
Week-XK 1) Tesseract Tara, after days of searching and fighting for her prize, finally found Tara's resting place. And seeing her at peace on her bed had prompted her to unleash her wrath upon Tara Watts.
[DATA EXPUNGED]
-------------------------------
Week-XK 2) In the midst of mindless agony and terror, she had a fleeting thought...this had happened before. Not just once (now). Not just twice (Tesseract Incident). But THREE times (Exo-Station Lab Accident). Those weren't freak accidents. Tesseract Tara had caused those things. All of it. And it hit her that this is what she wanted the rest of her life to be like. Suffering.
Suddenly, it stopped being scary and painful. Because it just got old.
It was in that moment that she declared "I'm not going to be your doll anymore". Eight deadly words that shattered Tesseract Tara's spirit, for she knew she would gain no further satisfaction from Tara. Ever.
Tara was not afraid of Tessie anymore.
What's worse? She freed HERSELF from Tesseract Tara's clutches. By using her brain waves to open up a portal that showered Tessie in a particle jet that temporarily vaporized her.
Even worse? She got away. By turning her hospital bed into a long-legged Sea Scorpion thingamajig, and riding away with it.
Even WORSE? Her attempts to make the rest of the world pay for Tara's escape? Totally thwarted. By possibly the most abstract and bizarre way to save the planet.

DUDE, YES. XD
I mean she handled that last week like a freakin' champ!
And Tessie? Realized she wasted time by pointlessly tormenting Tara. Defeated by Tara in an especially humiliating manner. And now has to live with the fact that there is literally NOTHING she can do that can hurt Tara anymore!
Cathartic, ain't it?

You know...I kinds wonder. What would Tessie's relationship with Memnarch be like? Do you think...
A) A friend who won't admit his closeness to Tessie, but unquestionably relies on her.
B) An annoying co-worker whose antics and instability get on his nerves. As a result, he can't stand her.
C) Strictly business partners. Tessie only matters if she can give him something he wants/needs.
Or something other??
